For the record, we could have played a good game instead.

I assumed that's what everyone who voted for it was doing. Would have been funnier if that was the case than what appears to have been a 12-hour period of passing interest.

Raven's Cry is a 5/10 game. That said, I don't really go out of my way to play 5/10 games.

Here's how that breaks down.

Everything except for sword fighting: 6/10
Sword fighting: 0/10 (terribly unresponsive)
Water: 8/10 (better than the majority of today's titles, frankly)
Racism: 2/10 (calling a literal cannibal a savage is not racist, slavery existing in a historical time period is not racist, the player is never given an option to be racist, only racial slurs I can recall were about "white blue-eyed devils")
Sexism: 1/10 (if calling a prostitute a ***** is sexism then Gamespot needs a dictionary)

Put all my points in the raven. According to achievements tracker page, I used it once.

Based on recent voting, there is a strong desire to play a 3rd-person action RPG. Unfortunately, none of the options put forth so far have been a game where the combat itself is enjoyable. I shall use my nomination for next month to remedy that. In honor of last month's announcement that Darksiders 4 is in development, I nominate the original Darksiders from 2010, which also happens to be the best game in the series.

For those unfamiliar, in Darksiders you play as one of the Four Horsemen. The game is an action RPG structured similar to Zelda 64, but with combat inspired by the original God of War and an art style influenced by Todd McFarlane.

I'd hesitate to call it an RPG, but maybe I have a different definition than you. Still a great game.

Next month is spooky month, and since half of you voted for shite slop to suffer through, I guess you masochists want pain. I nominate Pathologic 2 for October. If we're going to suffer, at least we'll suffer from a good game this time.

This game is not very good, but it has its moments.

Turning off bloom helped reduce the frequency of crashes, but I still get one every couple of hours.

Got to the quest related to the spoiler above and they have a unique faggy walking animation for the male hooker you hire to entrap the guy.

I assumed the Charlotte thing would be resolved in a side quest but I never sought it out. Was probably the most interesting story hook the game had.
