Agree to disagree. There's literally a gigachad filter on the second one and you're saying that it's not masculine at all
Any man who looked like that would be incredibly gay. I don't think you understand what "masculine" means.
Strong jawlines aren't an inherently macho feature and do aid a lot with symmetry which is why they're prized BY women(mainly out of envy)

But anyone with half a brain knows **** well that's not why AAA devs pick this design. They make the design decisions they do to be A. inoffensive to crotch rotting ******** and B.to androgenize the intent behind their work.(they don't want their puff-haired coworker frowning on using 10/10s in their game design.) Blizzard, being based in California is like a thoroughly roasted pig. Charcoal by this point, even.
Image
By all means it's UGLY, but calling it masculine is the same thinking that ******** use, whether some old autistic man convincing himself he's feminine after having half his facial bones carved out or a teen girl in makeup and goth clubwear who looks just like picture B thinking she's macho because she looks just like the gays in her favorite Chinese comics.

Blood Elf women are whores and Quel'thalas got more than its fair share of rape and pillaging from the Amani Trolls.
Trolls (both sexes) are massive sluts. Just, look at this removed /flirt lmao
"When enraged, and in heat, a female troll can mate over 80 times in one night. Be you prepared?"

Yet Rastakhan still ******* says:

All the /flirts are pretty degenerate tbh. I wonder why that one in particular was removed because there are flirts that are just as bad and even worse than that one still in the game. I mean just look at some of the female Nightborne flirts

Blizzard went woke ****** ***** with the removal of jokes and flirts. Look at the Blood Elf ones:
Blood Elf Female Jokes

So I went to this troll spa the other day and I wound up with dreadlocks and a frigging bone in my nose! I mean come on! Who PAYS for that?
So you mean I'm stuck with this hair color?!

Blood Elf Female Flirts

Is that a mana wyrm in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
Normally, I only ride on epic mounts... But, let's talk.

Blood Elf Female Demon Hunter Jokes

Of course these are real. You...mean the tattoos, right?

Blood Elf Male Jokes

Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?

Blood Elf Male Demon Hunter Flirts

Are you sure you're not part-demon? I find myself wanting to stalk you.
I hope you like tattoos, because they're permanent. If you don't believe me, you could try rubbing them off.

I think im gonna play on bronzebeard server (got an alpha key) for warcraft reborn content on ancension servers. It looks like so much new and improved content will be there even more than project epoch. They promised tbc and wotlk content will be released later. Hopefully it will have decent population to enjoy that because right now epoch servers really popular.

If it's anything like their regular servers I wouldn't recommend it. Every single enemy in the game is scaled to your level, super P2W, you can gain 30 levels in 30 minutes. More of a novelty experience.

Interesting, tell me this isn't the best classic+ thing

Then maybe i will stick with epoch lol.

This survey is for the Bronzebeard community to share your real experiences with level scaling.

Here is how level scaling currently functions on Bronzebeard:

** Open World **

Creatures in the open world keep their original level until they would normally turn gray (about +5 levels above their base). After that, they will scale to stay within 4 levels of your character, so you can still earn experience and complete quests that match your level. Quests follow this same scaling behavior.

Loot also scales with the creatures. If you’re fighting a level 16 Kobold, the items it drops will be level 16 as well.

** Dungeons **

In dungeons, monsters scale both up and down to match your character’s level. For example, while a level 40 monster stays level 40 in the open world, that same monster will scale down to your level inside a dungeon. Dungeon quests also scale to your level.

Just like in the open world, loot scales too. If you’re fighting a level 16 monster in a dungeon, the gear it drops will be level 16.
For reference, a few of us played Ascension a while ago and hit 20+ in the starting zone while being effectively invincible and able to pull as many enemies as we wanted.

For League of Legends fandmade creations, Riot put out a guide and part of it was talking about color and saturation. For magic (ie momentary things going off that you need to be aware of to avoid/take advantage of right now, be it an AoE heal going out you want to walk into before it expires, or an incoming damage AoE you want to run away from or pop a defensive before it hits you), it needs to be brighter than the rest of the environment and characters but not brighter than the UI.
Not quite related to this, but I kind of hate these "art guidelines" because I feel like it stifles creativity eventually. It sorta keeps quality up when the original designers are gone, but it eventually degrades into some parody of what it was because they don't understand the reasons for the various guidelines.
Like how modern WoW art looks very cartoony, it looks like a mobile game copying the WoW artstyle
I think that WoW's aesthetic shift has more to do with the old guys who grew up with Powermetal eventually leaving the company like Mark Gibbons or getting reassigned to the corner like Samwise Didier. Meanwhile, Blizzard was scaling up in size, and who did they hire? College grads? Do Californian artschool teach people to draw like 1980s Powermetal album covers? Or do they teach people to draw beanmouth and plasticky artstation portfolios? I think that's the real reason. I think perhaps the modellers/texturers in charge of the WoD model revamp were to blame, as they removed the grit and ferocity from the characters. The rest of the audience and the dev team are constantly looking at those new character models, and that determines how they imagine WoW going forward.

I believe it may be worth to pay for some extra stuff to support the devs also i want to enjoy whole tbc and woltk content because i stopped playing wow 20 years ago when tbc released. Beside there is an option ingame for earning only 1x experience.

Probably cinematic video made by same people who had done for ESO games. This so called blood elf actually looks so similar to Elder Scrolls High Elves.

Apparently the Turtle WoW "community manager" had the audacity to put that on his Linekdln page. I am not sure why any employer would care about a videogame private server, and that's just putting your name out there so that a big corporation has a definitive name to hunt down.

I wonder if and when Blizzard will go after Ascension. IIRC they had a cash shop.

My understanding is that the guy being sued is American. Private servers and less ******** staff are in the EU.

I think the success of Classic WoW has taught them to walk the line with their official policy of doing enough legal action to protect their trademarks but not shut it down entirely so as to lose the free R&D these modders are providing them.

The shaman totem quests were kino, very much enjoyed the class fantasy of going on a spiritual pilgrimage to the various elements

Then you have the air totem one where you just get given it upon reaching the quest npc in Thousand Needles. Supposedly cut content, sadge

I also like how shaman played then while levelling. You'd establish a point where your totems were located and try to fight successive enemies there to conserve mana. Only works in a narrow window of balance but they got it right before they got it wrong.

Class quests were cool, trainers added immersion to the world etc.,
Every little bit that was removed chipped away at the SOVL.
