Is it intended for this mod to not allow me to distract Z'rell with my "lusts for Astarion"? I am a female Durge. (I suspected Even Better Romance to be the culprit because of degeneracy removal, but nope, it's No Alphabets as far as I can tell. With only Realms Restored installed, we're still getting our lusty line. It only disappears if I slap No Alphabets on top of the Realms.)

Also, something in a hotfix (maybe?) must have messed up the game because for some reason Z'rell doesn't kill the ogre anymore when I ask her to show me her powers but she basically mind-rapes me with sending all those kissy touchy pain pleasure images into my mind... which is icky as it is, but especially since I'm not a lesbian.

I trouble-shooted. I thought at first that Even Better Romance might have messed all of this up. But then I remembered that I didn't have any of the mods on here installed during my last playthrough where she did that **** the first time.

I realize only half of what I wrote has anything to do with this mod, but maybe other people have these problems too and someone who has the skills to fix this kind of stuff sees it and wants to fix it when Larian probably won't...

On the Z'rell issue (brace yourself, dear reader, I'll be rambling incoherently):

I did some more testing, trying to find out what's wrong with Z'rell and I'm beginning to wonder if some of my Z'rell problems may have something to do with being a True Soul (used illithid powers A LOT) or maybe Fezzerk's absence and the slight change in that cutscene sets something up for the one with the ogre (I avoided meeting him in my current game and the game prior to that so as to not be swayed to save all the gnomes when Barcus gives me that puppy eye look).

See, I reloaded a very very old save from another playthrough where I didn't use illithid powers a lot in dialogue (drow durge inspires fear without having to resort to mind games ), Fezzerk was there instead of his replacement, and the ogre was in the cutscene behind her and she killed it too. All was well (well, except for the missing dialogue option that triggered my original much shorter ramblings in this thread). And that was with enabling all the MANY mods that had previously not been there. Something else that I noticed: When we're in the throne room and kill the goblins, one companion usually comments before the Durge narration kicks in. That also doesn't happen in this current game and the one prior to that where I had icky-Zrell-issue for the first time, but does when I reload the old old one. There's something going on behind the scenes here, I feel. Maybe from a hotfix? But wouldn't that still affect old saves. I mean, calling a cutscene is calling a cutscene surely? I mean, surely that can't be it, could it?

Or maybe Z'rell is really into that True Soul tag, so much so, that it basically deletes the ogre-that-is-visibly-standing-RIGHT-behind-her as soon as the cutscene starts, not displaying the ogre. I'm so tempted to leave this run as is and start a new one to test this theory. See if it works with avoiding mindgames and making sure Fezzy-boy is there, just to recreate that functional timeline. I may take two weeks or so to get back to this place...

No Alphabets still deleted my expected dialogue option to distract Z'rell with my lust/yearning/care/whathaveyou for my romantic interest, even on the old old save game that only had a few of the fabulous Hyperspacetowel mods installed that fix minor issues (I had only just dipped a toe into nexusmods). Please make that line come back - surely you don't intend to remove that one on purpose when you overhaul "the lovely Z'rell"? It gives approval with the respective companion too and the little approval pop-up when my lover likes what I'm thinking just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
At least that behaviour is consistent across a previously nearly-clean-and-barely-modded save and a modded-up-to-the-eyeballs game.
I personally find the basic "romantic desires" dialogue option that is still available worse than the romanced-companion dialogue option. Rather remove that one than our romance thing, I'd humbly ask. (And yes, please ALWAYS make her kill that stupid ogre if you're messing with her behaviour anyway because the other version of events is just ugh... I'll pick a dead ogre over mindfuckery any day.)

I have no idea where that leaves us with Z'rell. When I jumped back into my current game and decided to replay things from before getting to the moonrise towers waypoint to check things, all the crap I described happened again, no ogre visible in cutscene, no killing things, just icky mindthings. She did go upstairs on her own this time though instead of staying downstairs and/or having-to-minor-illusion her to the upstairs (still didn't show the ogre in the cutscene even with correct pathing and location by Z'rell) - but I wonder if that had anything to do with me skipping through the dialogue very quickly.

So I guess, all but the lust/yearn/care-for-romance-partner dialogue option may be out of your hands here and actually more of a consequences-of-my-actions thing but still could be disabled in favour of a dead ogre if you feel so inclined? After all...ickiness. At least buy me a drink first, Z'rell. (I really enjoyed killing her when she did that **** to me the first time though).

I think I'll really start a fresh game and see what happens if I restrict my illithid dialogue choices so as to avoid becoming a true soul and just say a quick threatening hi to Fezzerk in order to recreate my old game.

I guess that's the price I'm paying for playing too much with worms in act 1...

I dunno HOW the old version is still pulling those dialogues, since i essentially "disconnected them" in the new dialogue. What it seems to be is that your old save is using base game dialogue file and new one is using NA's version. Personally, i don't see why a dumb butch lesbian orc has anything to do with my sex life, and upping approval for these companions is so easy and predictable with Larian's wattpad writing... this doesn't feel like a loss at all.

I will add ogre killing on my list of things to do.

Hmmm, I think only a few changes will be missing. If there's a dialogue with a ***** pronoun that affects Companion approval, those OIO will be missing. I would think it would be minimal though.

When I first played the game I got really annoyed by the unkillable lesbian spiritzombie whatever that couldnt stay shut up about how lesbian she is... A female voice in a male body, man... And arc 3 was literally unplayable. The whole city looked nothing like a fantasy world. More like a cosplayer event in New York. You and your friends made the game playable, I'm so grateful to you. Also glad I did never buy the game. I wont support antiwhite, LGBTQP-propaganda.

Even funnier I first heard this mod when self-hating redditors complaining about it. Its kinda funny they complain about "living in hate" meanwhile I've never seen more hateful, agressive and pathetic subhumans than liberal whites. idk if it's intentional or if it's a problem on my end, but the ccreator mod makes it so i can't use all skin tones and all eye colours. I have a dark urge character that i want to use the vampire skin tone on and the eyes of the beholder mod options, but when i click all eye colours or all skin tones, nothing happens
