Good day HQ'ers. I have ideas for starting a custom team for a playthrough ( 1 season to start ) of a game I've been playing for awhile now as a 'couch & controller' game to play after work here and there. The game in question is "Legend Bowl".
Yeah I know "sPoRtS bAlL", but I've been thinking it would be an interesting playthrough as I always use family and friends for party members and such in things I play to fill out party slots and rosters so I figured I'd see if some members on here would like to be made into a player for the team roster. Max players on a team is 53, 11 on the field at a time, and into 3 main categories: Offense, Defense and Special Teams. I do not expect that many people to actually be interested so remaining spots will be populated with my personal family members and friends ( names adjusted/online handles used instead or changed accordingly ) or even members pets and personal game character names if desired. I may ask for user interactions, mock interviews, comments about other players or teams and such. I will be going over formatting and trying to organize my ideas and see how I can implement them into this playthrough when I am able to in the following weeks so it's hopefully entertaining.
Plans for drawing/coloring some custom hosts and personalities for this, and I'd like to post some polls for voting on a Team Logo, Name and Home Field/Stadium Design in the following weeks from some I've narrowed down when I get time. I have played this for over 100+ hrs, and have been mulling over this idea for awhile now while trying to pour some creative juices into something.
** This team is going to be marketed as a band of misfits for a new expansion team. We will be likely hated and held separate from the 'typical football players'. Nobodies that don't belong or don't act 'right'. We aren't top of the class over-achievers, or well-mannered clean cut varsity boys. But here...we'll embrace your tenacity and raw aggression that others overlooked. They'll hate us, but they'll learn to fear us. We'll be the meanest bunch of motherfuckers in the league. We expect fines will be handed out for comments and conduct. We'll have you covered. We're going to shake this league up and give you boys a chance to unload.
It may take some time to become Champions but we'll certainly be bulldozering our way towards it. **
