Huh? I don't know what you are talking about, but collectve farming certainly existed in the Middle Ages.
All the "in game" models look like little wooden pieces, afaik. Its the portraits that, I believe, Grumpy, is referring to. I haven't played it. I've only looked it up to see what he speaking to.
