Update: he cums on his Dominos pizza and eats it :(

Any thoughts on Project Epoch? New Classic+ private server that starts up in 11 days.
Don't do this to me, my heart can't take another break. Will servers be filtered by an IQ test?

I remember when the main downside of private servers was it wasn't operated by official publishers and therefore you don't get the same high quality guarantees.
:) :)

Any thoughts on Project Epoch? New Classic+ private server that starts up in 11 days.
I like this feature.
Racial Knowledge

Every race in Azeroth carries unique traditions, strengths, and stories passed down through generations. In Project Epoch, these legacies come to life β€” not only through powerful racial abilities but also through rich cultural expression. From mighty spells and skills to celebratory banners and brews, each racial gift reflects the heart of its people. Explore, embrace, and honor the heritage of every race as you carve your own path across the world.

Embrace Racial Knowledge

At level 60, your understanding of the world and its many cultures culminates in the ability to walk in another people's footsteps. The Racial Knowledge system allows you to swap your racial abilities to those of any other race. While you cannot mix abilities from multiple races, there are no restrictions on which racial set you may adopt. This choice is meaningful and enduring β€” once chosen, there is a two-week cooldown before you can select another path. Choose with care, and embrace the traditions of those whose strengths now become your own.

Quest for Understanding

Racial sets are not simply unlocked; they are earned through discovery and understanding. Upon reaching level 60, you'll embark on distinct, story-driven questlines designed to immerse you in the histories, philosophies, and magic of other races. These quests are crafted to be fun, lore-friendly journeys β€” whether learning ancient techniques from wise elders or proving your worth to secretive societies. By the end of these journeys, you'll gain more than just new powers β€” you'll carry the stories of another people with you.

Cultural Expression Through Magic

Power without flavor is hollow. In Project Epoch, every racial ability has been reimagined to reflect its culture's heart and soul. While mechanically balanced, these abilities feature unique names, custom icons, and entirely new visual effects for each race. Stoneform for a Dwarf becomes something entirely different in the hands of a Forsaken or a Night Elf β€” a new spell, with its own aesthetic and story, but the same familiar effect. This attention to detail helps ensure that adopting another race's abilities never breaks immersion β€” it only enriches it.

Heritage Made Manifest

Some things are eternal. While your combat racials may shift, your Cosmetic Racial is a permanent reflection of your heritage. These playful, flavor-rich abilities are unique to each race, serving no mechanical purpose beyond expressing pride, personality, and culture. Whether it's a small flourish, a racial emote, or a minor visual effect, these cosmetic touches are designed to help you feel even more connected to your character's roots β€” a reminder of where you came from, no matter where your adventures lead.
@LemonDemonGirl
Cosmetic: Bwonsamdi's Judgement
Death is never the end for the Trolls β€” not when Bwonsamdi is watching. With Bwonsamdi's Judgement, falling in battle may summon the Loa of Graves himself to appear beside your spirit. With a grin and sharp wit, he will mock your misstep in his own mischievous way, reminding all Trolls that even in failure, their souls are never beyond his notice. Unique voice lines bring this playful, powerful presence to life.

Hmm, project epoch is probably gonna be more leaning towards grouping up. I don't mind it but I also just like to go solo doing quests and stuff.

Fair enough. I personally never found managing 40 people remotely to be particularly enjoyable.

25 is bad enough.

Tbh that's why I'm looking forward to Chrono Odyssey, normal dungeons are 3-5 while raids at most will be 10 people, nothing more. Game is overall smaller when it comes to group content which is perfect. Though I am also thinking about getting ashes of creation

The problem has never been the number of people, hell it could be 100 - if it was in real life.

Once you pass 5 people, anything online becomes a ******* mess. Conflicting schedules and different time zones make it autistically hard to manage anything without having to replace, or compromise.

Maybe. When it's week after week tho, I just end up joining PUGs because that's basically all a guild turns into anyway

Looks like they got overwhelmed by the amount of people trying to get in and have been having issues since the servers initially went up. I was able to create a character but never able to log in.

Apparently the servers have extremely low caps atm, so good luck to anyone trying to get in currently.
