I played this for about a month then they had a database issue that caused them to reset the game by a month and I lost all my progress. That was my experience with SotA.

Who can I trick into playing this with me?

I would rather play:

UO Freeshards
Median XL again
Tchernobog
Factorio
ARK
SS13
L4D
Minecraft
Terraria

Or just about anything else before I played this slop.

Game seems to be completely dead, no idea why they keep updating it

I suspect there's a lot of people who subscribe monthly but don't even play, seems like something garriott cultists would do

How does it play? I saw the reviews are mixed, but it looked alright from a gameplay video I saw.

Kinda clunky low budget MMO controls.
I'd say avoid unless you plan on playing the offline mode, I doubt the game will even still be alive in a year.

Never heard of this. Buddy recently asked me if I'm still active on some WoW privates, he's in the mood to fire up something with me and little bro. Would like to get something in at some point with some people on here for a group. On a Diablo 2 Stint now for me and him but we're open for other stuff if we can find something. Been wondering about that Monsters & Memories as well. I just want some Pally/tank stuff.

It plays by going into your sex dungeon rave.

I really hope you people don't think that I'm joking. Roshambo collected a lot of it which included drunken fundraisers by Richard, passing off the moldy torch to the current devs, and said sex dungeons. Unfortunately it was all lost when our admin axed the old steam group due to terminal TDS.
