@gerey you probably need to install the latest CleanFlash version. It appears Ruffle doesn't have the same kind of activex support(I think? I'd need to dig deeper)

If you're really serious about it you'd be better off looking into the newest remake of it that's up on Steam.

There's an English version but the translation is both questionable, and there's a big chunk of free content that was added in a later patch missing from it, while present in the ***** version.

Luochuan Qunxiachuan is connected to the 1996 Heroes of Jin Yong through a direct story lineage. The 1996 game featured a modern character called "Little Shrimp" who got transported into Jin Yong's martial arts world. The 2001 Tale of Wuxia was the official sequel, set 100 years after Little Shrimp disappeared, with the new hero visiting Little Shrimp's statue.
What Luochuan Qunxiachuan Actually Is:
It's a fan-made spiritual successor that sits at the end of this lineage. Originally called "New Tale of Wuxia," it was created by devoted fans of the original games who wanted to recreate the 2001 experience. Due to copyright issues, they had to rename it to "Luochuan Qunxiachuan."
The 2015 vs 2016 Situation:

2015 Tale of Wuxia: The official, high-quality remake by the original developers
2016 Luochuan Qunxiachuan: The fan-made version that came after, with lower production values and mixed reviews

Both were working on "Tale of Wuxia" remakes, but the fan version was essentially overshadowed by the official remake that came out first.

These games always **** me off because I want crazy actiony wuxia fights but they're almost invariably turn based. Ironically the game that best delivered that experience was a ******* MMO, Age of Wushu. Even just moving in that game felt great.

These verifications are very inconsistent, fellow human, in this case, it just comes up with an error every time on registration, even though I passed the first verification to get into the registration. Seems like they have put verifications on every layer.

Probably not. They destroyed most of their culture during the Cultural Revolution so this what has survived.
