Yeah I faced this creature first-hand when I was playing the game a few weeks back. Killed any chance of immersion, of course.

Yeah, it's a ******* joke. The other shipwright is a female ***** btw.
And you can't fish Blue or Yellowfin Tuna, because they're apparently threatened. Only Blackfin...
And the sanity mechanic is such a ******* nothingburger.

Another great idea ruined by current-year retardation.

Brother and I playing through D2. His first time, just 2 manning. No online groups or Baal runs or nothing, self found. Just finished NM Meph Act3. Pally/Necro Duo, Summon Focus and Conviction/FoH-Holy Bolt healer support build for his summons. Most fun I've had in awhile.

You kinda gotta hand it to the libtards in charge of game design... The push to make every character a black woman came at the same time as the push to "not appeal to the male gaze", so you end up with most games made before 2014 including visually appealing white or Asian women, and everything made since 2016 purposely ugly black women.

It seems Microsoft is quietly stepping back from the console market, betting that people will stick to Game Pass in the near future and relying on asus to make handheld hardware for the Xbox brand.

There are no signs they’re working on truly Xbox exclusive titles, and they even ported the inferior version of Gears of War to the PS5. Xbox had a good run while it lasted.

Xbox's "good run" ended in 2010 with Halo:Reach. After that it's been nothing but slop and disappointment. They're a company that failed upwards thanks to Microsoft money.

Microsoft should just throw in the towel and completely stop operations in there game division. They clearly don’t care or to incompetent to ship games anymore.

And while they're at it they should close the Windows division as well.

What are the chances that RPGHQ is a honeypot run by federal agencies to catch suspected "extremists"?

On good months we break $50 in platinum sales. Nothing I do here can be put on a resumé, for obvious reasons. If any federal agencies want to pay me a salary for being a forum admin, use the contact form!

Pretty much.

There was a use-case for consoles right up to the seventh console generation. Game sizes hadn't yet ballooned to the point they couldn't fit on DVDs or Blu-rays (barring some exceptions), the bespoke hardware under the hood could provide adequate performance at a lower price point, and as the years went on by developers learned ways to squeeze even more performance out of the system, playing games was largely a plug-and-play affair, and you also got a DVD or Blu-ray player in the bargain.

Another important aspect were the exclusives. Many of the great and unique PS2 games could only be played on that particular console, and while this became less of a trend with the PS3 and 360, both still had a worthwhile library of unique "killer apps".

Nowadays consoles have all the disadvantages of the PC, with none of the advantages. The consoles are big and clunky, playing games requires installing and patching them, juggling HD space and deleting old games for newer ones, and in the last decade users also had to contend with the need to figure out if their console had the hardware specs to run their game of choice, what with the existence of less and more powerful models of the same console.

Prices are also an issue, with both Sony and MS increasing the prices of the hardware, on top of subscriptions to play games online, on top of nickel and diming the userbase for even the basic proprietary piece of plastic. And all this with the risk the piece of **** hardware could die on you any minute due to shoddy manufacturing.

If you're going to pay $700 for a PS5, might as well just buy a gaming PC and call it a day - at least your whole Steam library will remain available to you regardless of what PC you're playing it on, with a whole cottage industry of autists creating patches and workarounds to make old games work on new hardware.

That was always the plan, unfortunately.
Xbox and Sony rarely retain complete exclusivity anymore.
Come August 26th a new horde of console ******* will infest the game. Xbox players...

I'll switch fully to PC when console games stop coming on discs and cards. That time seems to be fast approaching with the Switch 2's game-key cards.

Physical (real physical) or piracy, it's the only way.

I dunno where to put this, but it's about part of Gamergate, so it's going here.

How much of this do you think is because most modern games suck, rather than the economy being in a bad state?
