Maybe BioShock Infinite?
You're right on the money - all choices in the game are illusions and in the end you get admonished by the Elizabeths and drowned.

Crysis has been delisted from Steam. You can now access this version only through the ****** EA subscription service. Thankfully it’s still available on gog with no drm.

It's not a RPG in any real way.
It's an action game where you open up new characters by doing various things.
I played it through several times and enjoyed it, despite the occasional jank system.

Enclave is pretty fun, it reminds me a lot of Blade of Darkness, except without as many environmental interactions. The AI is really good tho.
Enclave has very good controls, some of the best of any game I've played.
Fun action game, underrated

The game has two campaigns, "good" and "evil", and an interesting shop system where gold is basically your experience of a sort. There's a finite amount of gold, usually hidden around each level, that you can then use to buy new equipment for your character, but you buy and sell equipment for the same amount, so finding more gold on a level allows you to buy more and better equipment.

Can't quite remember if you do find unique equipment in the levels too, I played it years ago.

Whoa, what a blast from the past! My friends and I were really into those stickman flash animations and games. We played basic stuff like Ragdoll Masters and more advanced crazy stuff like Toribash.

aye i remember wacky **** like toribash, kinda reminds me of some physics fighting one, can't recall the name off the top of my head, but you just fling yourself around in a 3d spherical arena and smack the **** out of your opponent. me and me mates had a bunch of flash games n **** saved on our USBs and played em on the school computers whenever we got the chance. good times

found it on the old USB, game in question was 'rubber ninjas' lol

it's a pretty fun action game in the vein of Severance Blade of Darkness and Rune. Combat is nothing to write home about, so it cannot be compared to jap action games like DMC or Godhand, but if you enjoy sort-of mindlessly whack goblins while looking for secrets and occasionally doing simple platforming, then it's a game for you.

also it was widely noted that starfield's UI was "outdated" and "unusable" at release, so, not really a point in skyrim's favor

https://fandomwire.com/modder-revolutio ... ory-menus/
I wonder what would be the non-dated UIs they're thinking about.

ELEX's UI is definitely the best one, the other two are a bit lousy and too generic :turtle:
