The robots are even more clueless about what it means to be human than the androids are, and the androids are deliberately depicted as suppressing their human nature to better perform their duties.fl04ting wrote: ↑ June 17th, 2025, 02:43the machine village straight up lives by communist ideology and quotes karl marx almost DIRECTLY when explaining how they operate.
Interacting with the peaceful ones in the village quickly hammers home that it's a pantomime, they're badly playing at make believe because they so desperately want to be human. Nothing they say is to be taken seriously, and their antics are largely played for laughs.
Might as well argue that the Forest Kingdom is an endorsement of monarchism, since it's treated with about the same degree of seriousness.
The game really doesn't have any overt political message. It's about two distinct races of automatons fixating on trying to become humans, without any clear idea what that means, since the whole human race has been dead and gone for thousands of years by that point.

The magic sauce is not forcing ******* on the audience.
Nier is as woke as any 00s liberal game which makes it perfectly suitable for me.

That magical time when liberal devs could put characters like this in a game without reactionaries fuming about how it doesn't agree with their politics. Trad conservatives of the time were too busy complaining about sex and violence and insisting that video games should be exclusively for children.
If you need a character to face the audience and say "Communism is bad actually" when the story includes communists you're not going to like anything made past the 1950s.

but again, damsel was portrayed as a naive dummy for kicks. I'm pretty sure there's dialogue with some of the other cooler characters who make fun of her behind her back. she's very young compared to the others. the implication is that her kind of thinking is typical for naive dumb kids and college aged activists. IIRC shes only about like 50-60 years old which makes her very young by vampire standards.Roguey wrote: ↑ June 20th, 2025, 15:26Nier is as woke as any 00s liberal game which makes it perfectly suitable for me.

So, much like what gerey described in his post about the nier robots being portrayed as silly, it's the same concept.
it's not an endorsement of these philisophies, that is one of the main differences between these games and actual woke games

Isn't it nice that this has completely turned now, sex and violence are again treated as if they were the reason for Real world Violence, just from the left-wing puritans this time around.Roguey wrote: ↑ June 20th, 2025, 15:26That magical time when liberal devs could put characters like this in a game without reactionaries fuming about how it doesn't agree with their politics. Is there any point to this with Furin in whatever oubliette he's in?
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.

I assume Furin never named a "successor" or anyone who could take care of the list in the event he's gone?

As the Jewish writer says

Unsurprising that the guy who wrote
would follow the herd along with his fellow libs.Last year Democratic candidate Michael Redmonds bought a sport utility vehicle. Three months later there were two separate incidences of hit-and-runs by an unidentified SUV in his area. Is Democratic candidate Michael Redmonds to blame? Can you afford to take that chance? Can your children? Vote Republican senator Robert Thorne, a candidate that has never committed vehicular homicide.
Democratic candidate Michael Redmonds has never publicly stated his opinion on child pornography. Is it because he is hiding something? Would you want a child pornographer voting on this nation's laws? Would you trust your children's future to someone like that? Vote Republican senator Robert Thorne, the candidate that is comitted to locking up child pornographers.
Democratic candidate Michael Redmonds recently sued Senator Robert Thorne for accusing Redmonds of being a murderous child pornographer. But Redmonds had previously said he was against clogging up courts with frivolous law suits. Wouldn't this make him a hypocrite? Would you want a hypocrite as your next congressman? Would you want your children become hypocrites? Vote Republican Senator Robert Thorne, a candidate not accused of being a murderous child pornographer.
He did. You. Copy the list to a new thread and update it to your liking.UltraFan123 wrote: ↑ June 21st, 2025, 15:27I assume Furin never named a "successor" or anyone who could take care of the list in the event he's gone?
Anti-capitalism games isn't woke. Wokie loves capitalism.
Yep!
That's why as of late there has been so many games and series about "redistribution of wealth" featuring an ugly-as-**** sheboon main character.
And now that I think about it, media about "eating the rich" that is funded and published by multi-millionaires and their corpos have been around for several decades too.
I thought rusty_shackleford was the new admin of WCDetector? Or at least a guy named Wizard Lizard (rrshackleford)... What am I missing?
More of my findings...
- The Alters: A good game with many flaws. Even though this game is about a bunch of guys on an uninhabited planet, feminism still found a way to creep in. Probably because the game is written by a woman who looks like a feminist. That also explains why the dialog is so long winded and boring, and most alters are emotional trainwrecks. One of the alters is a complete simp (Jan Botanist) and the biggest decision in the game is basically choosing between "the evil patriarchy" and feminism (by following the simp's advice). When choosing "the patriarchy", the game punishes you by becoming more difficult to progress and then at the end of the game you get screwed in the *** either way. In any case, most women in this game are in leadership positions (captain, boss, head of research, lawyer). The most feminine character in the game is Jan Botanist. Conclusion: WOKE.
- Clair Obscur Expedition 33: The population at the start of the game is quite diverse. One of the female NPCs looks like an ugly guy with a dress on, I am not kidding. Singular they/them is used often to refer to specific individuals (political correctness I guess), even though there is no consistency. Monsters are called "it" one time, and then "they" another. Just like in other games "they" is used interchangeably with other pronouns, either it's deliberate or the writers are confused themselves. And of course the female protagonists are strong capable warriors while the male protagonist comes across as another overly emotional weakling. Written by a woman. Conclusion: WOKE.
I've noticed more and more people are starting to use they/them/their online to refer to men and women. The programming is working. Some people can't distinguish between male and female anymore.
