I never see these brought up unlike similar RPGs of the time period e.g., Wizard's Crown, even overlaps somewhat with the Goldbox games.

I played Phantasie 3. The start is kind of funny since you can very easily end up with a party missing most limbs. Never tried it ironman, but you'd probably go through a hilarious number of characters. Needs the amiga graphics to be bearable to play though.

I was trying to play the ST versions, but I got side tracked. ST has the nicest graphics, a mouse interface, and it's one of the platforms with all three games. I enjoyed it for the short time I played, but that time was rather short.
