I don't think there is any actual gay stuff in Genshin besides maybe some undertones from Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko. It is the highest profile game in China and the CCP started cracking down on any gay stuff years ago. I remember the Their Story manga suddenly ceased publication and the author said it was due to the government, and that was long before the CCP's powerpoint slide using Venti as an example of fembois being prohibited.

I was making a pun that sounded as close as possible to the original. Also, you could always use "gay" as meaning "lame."
But your thorough post on it was enough to make me lose any interest. The movement system being boring and a slog especially. I don't want to play another Starfield where I have to hoof it between locations.
I might get back into GW2, now that I'm thinking about movement, because the mounts in that game are awesome and the environment is super varied and traversing it is actually fun.

The denuovo is almost always eventually broken, and there are pirate downloads for any high profile game with denuovo so it's not like they are going to be lost. The main issue is that people want to play a game while it is topical and people are still discussing it, not playing it years later when it is discounted or the denuovo has been cracked but there is no one who will reply to their posts about it. Denuovo hamstrings performance and affects gamers here in the states. I know three people who are gamers with a capital G and build dedicated gaming PC rigs, and but only one of them has sheer GPU power to muscle through it, and even then that power could have been used on additional graphical enhancements like reshade or RTGI or upscalers and so on had the game not been held down by Denuovo.
