Geralt is the gay version of Elric. Hell, both characters have a similar name structure.
Geralt of Rivia
Elric of Melniboné

Nicknames both are The White Wolf. Though Elric has the cooler ones.

Polacks just elected a snus-munching football hooligan shitlord to be their next president, so at least there's that.
Will he put CDPR employees in jail for destroying Poland's global standing?

Everyone now believes Poles are gay Americans.

Relevant considering CD Projekt Red replaced all the male devs with women & gays.

Despite all the negativity on this site about the video game industry, mostly aimed at derivative AAA garbage, you’re still keeping up with the news and will probably play this on launch day, only to complain about the same issues we always rant about. So why bother?

The industry has profoundly changed direction since the seventh gen days. If your interest doesn’t lie in passionate indie projects, keeping up with it now just feels like a waste of time.

what timing with this video being recommended to me, reminded me of your comment

This is one of the letters to the editor Fantastyka published shortly after publishing Sapkowski's story in 1986:
Szanowna redakcjo!
In human language:
Esteemed Editorial Board!
The story "Wiedźmin" published by you is a shameless plagiarism of the folktale rendition by Roman Zmorski titled "Strzyga," published in 1852 in the collection "Podania i baśnie ludu polskiego" ("Legends and Folktales of the Polish People"). Only the beginning of the story has been slightly altered by Mr. Sapkowski - the rest follows Zmorski’s text almost verbatim. I trust you will not let this matter rest.

It would just be a coincidence if he didn't happen to be the translator for Elric's stories and already get caught plagiarizing.
Just remembered I wanted to read that book(the folk tales one) but there was no translation at the time. AI to the rescue

Yes. Highly recommended the graphic novel series as a good starting point.

Geralt's chapters in the books were the only thing keeping me going. Ciri's was a test of willpower, and Dandelion akin to soviet prison interrogation. The games are pretty much similar in all ways. This series lives and dies off a stoic, masculine, morally conflicted man. Not a woman. Besides, I saw their press releases after the initial trailer and they couldn't stop bringing up feminist rhetoric when describing Ciri's journey within the Witcher 4. Nah, I know exactly where this is headed, and this series is dead as far as I'm concerned.
Geralt is a great video game character. He has all of the qualities of one. Quite honestly, very few female characters can pull it off unless it's a build your own character game. The list of successful action or RPG franchises where there's a predetermined sole female protagonist (meaning no male/female character choice) is very short.

There are no games with male mc/female mc choice. You are always picking between a male or a thinner male with boobs and girly voice.

Yes, the dialogue files in fallout even allow for easy gender-specific lines. I learned this when translating Fallout Sonora, which makes heavy use of it.

i think it's funny that they say this now, considering how their previous marketing campaigns were relying on those heavily scripted bullshot fake trailers.

I think the Witcher series, as a whole, is quite good, with no particularly terrible RPGs. However, I am really tired of these in-engine concept trailers :broken: , show me more of your dialogue options and consequences.

mind boggling that they went with making the foid the protagonist for this, instead of just letting you make your own character (no foid option, of course)

We're deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Alexander Morton, the voice of beloved Zoltan Chivay in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Thank you for bringing Zoltan to life. The Continent is already missing you 💔
