I posted photo of my skin. I'm whiter than you.
That said, only because it causes butthurt on you, I will play as Malekith, Mannfred and Jaffar( with this mod https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/fil ... 3134922105 ) and enslave the whole Bretonnia. I will force grail knights to toil the fields while I "enjoy" the Damsels in the city plaza.

Kislev with it's less historical Poland/Slawic aesthetic like it had before and everything's ice and bears everywhere flanderization is bad enough, but Grand Cathay really knocks it out of the park.
It's just a power fantasy for and to pander to China;
Air ships, which are super special and only the Dwarves have a few of them? Yup, got it.
Gunpowder, which the Empire got from the Dwarves and also is still comparatively in its infancy there? You got it, we have it.
(Terracotta) golems that the Dwarves lost ages ago and which are an insane thing in and of themselves? Yeah, you guessed it.
Huge armies of heavily armoured troops rivalling even the greatest other factions? Yep.
Not to mention just the cringe Nu-hammer female "soldiers" Cathay has. Literally every unit except peasants have women mixed in or are fully female, like the gunpowder units.
And don't get me started on the complete destruction of Bretonia's identity with its new lore and now having female knights, entirely turning their society and values on its head.
Overall, with Kislev and Cathay, you really see how the people making the new "Old World" stuff are not the same that made the setting before, and don't understand it. Everything feels so high-fantasy and over the top now, which it never was. The crazy magic and fantasy stuff was special, because it was not ubiquitous. Feels just like a complete meme level/ reddit tier understanding of Warhammer Fantasy.

I HATE the "Old World", I wish they never revived it after the End Times, they could have proven to be a blessing in disguise by "freezing" the setting and keeping it save from modernity.

I'm writing only to trigger him. Being very honest, among all 3 villains mentioned, I'm only interested in playing as Mannferd. He is a cool dude. About Jaffar, would be great if there was a mod with him, not to play with him, but to fight him(Jaffar) imagine how cool a campaign, where mercenaries from Tilea and knights from Bretonnia put all differences aside to free their land from Araby occupation and after it, start a Crusade against Jaffar to free the enslaved population of Tilea and Bretonnia.
That would be a amazing campaign.

Ah the age old brown seething that doing something to imaginary characters and faction will make someone mad on the internet. It doesn't work when you do it with Vergil by killing Astarion and it doesn't work with me by enslaving Bretonnia. But good to know I live rentfree in your brown head now, Paco.

If it were up to me to make a TWW3 campaign, I would make the following scenario:
1 - Jaffar as the main villain. The game starts with Estalia under full Araby occupation, Tilea around a third occupied, and Bretonnia around 15%. Players chose between Tilea or Bretonnia to start the campaign with the most iconic characters like Borgio and Lucrezzia Belladonna.
2—The main objective initially would be to fully deoccupy Bretonnia and Tilea. Despite Tilea and Bretonnia not liking each other, as one is all about freedom and the other all about traditions, they will form an alliance to kick Jaffar out.
3 - After kicking Jaffar's forces out of Tilea and Bretonnia, they will deoccupy Estalia, but a huge chunk of the population of such countries where enslaved people including family members of merchant princes live. Bretonnia launches a holy crusade against Jaffar.
4 - The second main part of the campaign begins now. Tilea, Estalia, and Bretonnia try to conquer "coastal" towns and fortresses. But everything is much harder now; logistics in the desert are hard, their main "lore of the desert" spell is much more powerful in the desert, and djinns are also much stronger in their homelands.
5 - IF players manage to get close to occupying the capital, Jaffar will ascend into daemonic princehood, becoming a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch of cosmic proportions, and he will be the final villain of the campaign.
Do you think that such a campaign would be good?

Nope. I just have zero tolerance for mediocrity. And if someone tries to annoy me, I will annoy them back. If they insult me, I will insult back. If they spread lies about me, I will spread lies about them. Repeating the same "hur dur, let's call a dude that saw far more penguins in his life than Mexicans, Mexican in every topic" is just annoying, don't make me fell offended. This is as ******** as Johnny Somali trying to provoke Koreans with a speaker at maximum volume talking about US nukes in "Hiroshima and Nagasaki" while staying in Korea.
And note that Mr. Somali has similar crybully behavior; he annoys everyone and gets butthurt when he gets annoyed back.
Now can please discuss the freaking game?
Ah this game. I need to get back to it. Kind of fell off the radar when most of the mods fixing it died. Well TWW3 anyway. I still think TWW2 was the better one.
Well I haven't had a mini rant for a few days, why not?
Vanilla TWW3 compared to TWW2:
Turns out I have more hours in TWW3 than I did for Stellaris.
On Steam anyway. I prefer not to know my actual Stellaris hours. (Or worse: Skyrim. NO. THANKS.)
Well I haven't had a mini rant for a few days, why not?
Vanilla TWW3 compared to TWW2:
- Why are the battlefields so blurry and ugly? And the horizon is pixellated!?(Yes we needed a mod to make TWW3 look as good as TWW2.)
- OH good, that army has routed... right through my line? OK. Seconds later: they attack from behind my lines. Nice of my troops to let them through.
(The route means route mod is essential.) - OK a rat army with one of those nuke mages. Well I'm ok as long as I don't get within... HOW THE HELL DID I GET NUKED ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE MAP!? THEY CAN'T EVEN SEE ME YET!!!!
(The no nuke mod is essential.) - My northern borders are OK because my good friends the dwarves who I've been military allies with for eons will... wait, why is my ally declaring war suddenly? WHAAAAAA!?
(This happened so many times I kill dwarves now even with the mod fixing it.
) - I've wiped out the last of my enemies on this continent. Time to take a nice breather and build up my infrastructure. Wait who are these people I've never even seen declaring war on me?! THEY HAVE TROOPS HERE ALREADY!? WHAAAAT!?
(Anti-player bias is stupid.)
Turns out I have more hours in TWW3 than I did for Stellaris.
Heh I forgot a few.
- OH who's this weird army that just appeared out of nowhere? WOOD ELVES!? RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!!!
(They are a tad overpowered.
) - OH look that hero unit is already almost dead. Shouldn't be a problem. ... 20 minutes later: how long does it take to lose 1 HP?

- Good luck attacking us at this fortress we have walls. Um... why is nobody shooting at the troops CLIMBING UP THE **** WALL!? Does no one have hot oil around here!? Also where did they get the ladders!???
- We are so sure about our fortress we're only going to have ONE gate. Yes, all those realistic fortresses with multiple gates? Pathetic. One will get the job done fine. ... Breached in 5 minutes: we're DOOOMED.

- Oh this city defense thing is neat, I'll be sure to upgrade my defenses so we can fend off the odd army that gets past the line. Um... why am I in a field battle in my DEFENDED CITY!?

- Well look at this, auto resolves says I'll lose this battle horribly! I'll fight. Huh. Heroic victory!?

- Auto-resolve says I'll get a Heroic Victory here. Well I could use an easy fight. ... The other side gets the Heroic Victory.

More:

- I'll be sure to position my second army so they reinforce from behind my first army in this fight. Gets in battle: why is the reinforcing army on the other end of the map!?
- OK the two armies attacking me are from the west on the map. I should be able to find a nice spot and..... wait how they reinforcing from the opposite side of the map!??

- City defense: well this is turning out great. We're wiping them all out nicely. The lone 4 soldier army I don't notice: captures the central plaza somehow when I'm not looking. HOW DID I JUST LOSE!? We had twice their troops still!

- Hah fear the power of my mage! Huh, they're all moving out of the way instinctively? How do they know? Meanwhile enemy mage: eat spells! My troops just stand there even when I tell them to scatter.

- My troops have full plate armor. Surely we can withstand a few guys in animal skins. (Wood Elves.) Form a line!! Shortly after: I guess wearing a loincloth and some furs does beat plate armor.

Brotip to whom it may concern: If playing on Linux, you have to disable the OS' use of the Alt key, otherwise it will hijack it when you try to do a slide-reposition in battle. Took me a while to figure out.

About WH, what I really hated TWW3 is the following. I want to play as Mannfreed. The game : Buy TWW1. I want to play as Gelt. The game : Buy this expensive DLC. EVERY character that I'm interested to play will be as expensive as **** and my favorite school of magic(Celestial) have zero legendary lords with it. I can in Cathay have a Astromancer, or as Karl Franz or Gelt have one hired but I WANT TO BE A CELESTIAL MAGE!!!
But for the fans here.
I only played TWW3.
Is TWW2 better? And TWW1?

Does Warhammer have a mexico themed faction or something?
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

Since you only talk and think about Mexico, for you, they have a mesoamerican influenced faction of Lizardman https://totalwarwarhammer.fandom.com/wi ... e_Factions
Brother why are you caring about skin color anyways, light or red or silver it makes zero difference.
Talking about politics in WH factions, there is ANY faction which could be considered lefitist? Empire of Sigmar is "second reich". Sylvannia is a undead magocracy. Bretonnia = feudal France, Tilea = ancapland, even their armies are private. Kislev is Tsarist Russia. Araby is a Caliphate. The non human societies, Dwarfs are very traditionalists. Wood elves are a isolationalist ethno state. High elves are a theocratic caste based monarchy.
Race is more than skin color. For eg, organ transference, how likely some diseases are to be inherited or developed, etc. I'm not saying that any group is superior or inferior.gastovski wrote: ↑ May 31st, 2025, 17:19Brother why are you caring about skin color anyways, light or red or silver it makes zero difference.

I think that the most "lefiitst" faction in WH could be Lizardman. Sure, they have a rigid caste system (Slann mages, Saurus warriors, Skinks, etc.). Their society is highly organized and collectivist in serving the Great Plan, which could loosely resemble a centrally planned, communal system. I'm not saying that they are lefities, only that they are the closest to what we define as lefitism IRL.

Contrary to IRL, where native americans have bows incapable of piercing conquistador armors...TheEmptyRoad wrote: ↑ June 4th, 2025, 03:57Even more reason to Colonize Lustria. The Great Plan has failed, millions must be colonized.
An single Slann can overpower multiple high tier Mercenary Wizards. And Saurus could take a volley of Arquebussiers and continue going. If a large expedition goes from Tilea, the few survivors will say that they found nasty monsters.

If a bunch of oogabooga Norscans were able to set up a colony in Lustria hundreds of years ago and are still able to survive, i don't see why others can't
Hell, seems to me they're able to fend off the lizardmen reliably:

Not to mention there's other colonies like Port Reaver, Swamp Town and the Vampire Coast itself
