I'm glad Todd made an actual sci-fi game rather than yet another space opera(fantasy in space)

I think it is good but they will need something more than giant bugs and space prophets. Maybe a giant dyson sphere to drive home the point that this is Trek not Wars.

I just dislike Bethesda RPG's because the depth is a mirage. It has nothing to do with me wanting space opera gayness.

Also there is no reason to play a game at launch when it will have DLC since I will likely not replay it.

You know that a spaceship can go any speed the devs want it too. Nothing prevented them from making a persistant, proc gen universe with a few dozen handmade locales for the story. Daggerfall in space.

All those space games like Elite Dangerous and No Mans Sky are boring and made for people who want a game to "play" while they are listening to podcasts and watching youtube videos on a second monitor. Procedural generation at huge scales is dumb and boring. Technically Bethesda went with the best choice in designing the world, they're just lead by a terrible writer/creative director, lazy and decided to get pajeets and ***** to make everything in the game for them.

Doubt it, because modding randomly selected seeds is going to be more annoying than modding planets with persistant maps.

Noctis already did everything Numale's Sky did ages ago and for free.

Anyway, this game leaks more than a sponge with amnesia. I tried performance mods and texture mods and it just runs like ****, I give up.

Just visited "The Well" and it's like night and day from New Atlantis or That Mars city.. Really detailed bars and resturaunts with living quarters.. super detailed lots of great decoration and just overall kino grungy place. Kinda wish all of Cyberpunk 2077 looked like this place.

(The Starfield "LUT Colors" doesn't do this place many favors though.. Bethesda has such ****** post processing devs)

Kinda wish New Atlantis had some similar vibes in their apartment buildings.. but it feels borderline unfinished.

Looks a million times better.. but I'm gonna try to finish the game once before I mod it. I like seeing how the game plays / looks vanilla.

I'll assume the UC Vanguard are essentially the "Vanilla Ice Cream Fighters Guild" faction route for this game.. and if that's true the storyline is pretty **** good in comparison to what I usually expect from Fighters Guild shenanigans.

It's not even close to Oblivion Brotherhood tier.. but not too shabby.
