This is D&D after all, any casting of True Resurrection or Wish should be able to bring Connor back to life. So he could be brought back to life as early as Act 1 if you go through the Case of Death quest after Gale's first death, or in Act 3 (whether Connor is zombiefied or not). It would need new scenes both Act 1 and 3.

I still would like to see a mod to Resurrect or Raise Dead (prior to zombification), and True Resurrection post. I am surprised it still hasn't been made this many years later.
