This would be the reason why you can't find the page. (https://store.steampowered.com/news/app ... ?l=english) While this game does look interesting, especially due to the fact that FPS Rougelites are a rarity compared to other types of rougelites and because those are 2 of my favorite genres, I simply am not willing to take the risk on getting burnt...I guess I can put it on my wishlist to check back in a couple of years though...

Could I ask for more information on this game? I searched online but found nothing that might say what happened, and I would love to play this one. Would I be correct to say that the issue with this game is that this is one of those that goes well at first and then nosedives and disappears due to costs in some way?

Most of those games can be played on PC. And there isn't a true demand for retro games just like there isn't a true demand for used Pokemon cards. It's vanity collectors selling to each other.

Rockstar is a bit ******. They bet everything on the PS5, yet Sony has failed to move the PS5 in the necessary numbers, considering that more than 50% of PS4 owners have not made the switch to the PS5.

The PS5 is selling better than the XBox, but that's not saying much considering both were getting mogged by the Switch, and will get even more ****** over by the Switch 2.

GTA V was largely successful because it launched on both Microsoft and Sony consoles, but also because it allowed Rockstar to double dip by releasing the game on the seventh and eighth gen consoles.

Meanwhile, GTA VI will be releasing solely on the PS5, despite having a gargantuan budget. Granted, it will probably boost the sale of PS5 consoles, and Rockstar is likely planning to make back the money via the online component of the game, but it's still going to be a big gamble.

Also, I am curious why the constant delays, and wonder how much they have to do with rewriting the game for fear of pissing off a large-enough percentage of the userbase.

Oh I'm pretty sure that Rockstar is sweating bucks because of the cultural shift, but since I'm almost certain that GTA VI was most likely made from the ground up with the woke rot at its core, fully eliminating it might be impossible without throwing the 2 billion away and starting from scratch.

Rather, I think the delays are an attempt to hide the woke **** as much as it humanly can be hidden, but considering how well has the average gamer gotten at nooticing these last few years, Rockstar's efforts might as well be for naught.

Thats their modus operandi. Happened in a lot of netflix shows. In video games they will just keep you in a 2hour early zone. But since they will try to double dip console players first the story should be widely known once it hits pc at least.
