Ken Levine's game is doing so good his studio just lost all of its senior devs.

Guys, we're hiring! List of positions:
- guy who programs;
- guy who makes levels;
- guy who does art;
- ideas man (already taken, sorry!)
- guy who does management.
Wasn't he responsible for Irrational having to gut half of the almost completed Infinite and reworking it (into a reduced and inferior version)?

yes Ken Levine is a notorious hack fraud.

Good old Levine's still doing that wasteful kind of perfectionism where he takes a look at fully finished art assets, decide they don't fit his vision, and just throws them away starting over from scratch.

Pretty peculiar to still be at it eight years into development after they've already posted videos/screens of what it will look like.

perfectionism
That's just mismanagement, not perfectionism. It's easier than ever before to generate concept art and even some interactive 3d scenes with unoptimized assets to gauge how your vision fares.

Employees grow to hate him and Bioshock Infinite didn't make a profit, but his games get a lot of accolades, awards, and millions of copies sold. The shrinking of Irrational should have been a wake-up call but instead it made him worse. "Having a smaller team means I can take as long as I want, right?"

What's the reason Half Life isn't usually considered an immy simmy? I'd say it leans much closer to it than some that mistakenly are

that's a slippery slope. Next thing you'll say is that Duke Nukem 3d is also an immersive sim, since it has areas that look like real places, and a high level of environmental interactivity.

I'm not saying it is, I'm just saying it's probably closer than VTMB

You can stack boxes so it gets a pass from me. I played it for a couple of hours and had more fun with it than I did with Stalker 2. Unfortunately, it's a furry game which has the knock on effect of being able to play as @Tweed

If you'd vote for Two Worlds II, more people would be nice.
