If I want to build an elf character that uses magic, beauty, and whatever the charisma stat is in this are there any character creation pitfalls I need to know to avoid? How viable is this as a build? Will I be able to be a haughty and racist elf?

You're not going to like this, but Beauty is meaningless. The only thing it affects is Reaction Modifier, which is easy to raise just by saying things people like. Or you can wear a smoking jacket.

If your Beauty is really low, people will pick fights with you.

I like this little symbol as an icon for a badge personally. Or one of the other cool symbols from the UI. Just some guy's tiny barely able to make out generic looking face isn't really a good choice.

I got my hands on the soundtrack from mp3.com back in 2001 and I still think it's one of the most beautiful soundtracks I've ever heard. The title theme still comes up on my phone from time to time.

I am Hoped to make a mad scientist half-ogre after looking around in the character creator, but if the background has no story hooks or special dialogue I am a bit deflated with my enthusiasm Will still make and roleplay him as that though but am unsure when will I be able to as I wish to give new games I play my full attention and I am playing Wizardry VI at the moment.

I did read that was the case as another background mentioned it (can't recall which it was presently Frankenstein for Humans), but I had hoped for my character to mention some scientific jargon or make up some silly ideas due to mad scientist mixing with low intelligence XD
It is alright though, just good to know before I go in expecting something that won't be
