This is contradictory.

How is it? It literally isn't. In the other mod. Selûnite Shadowheart doesn't want to sleep with twins, blah blah blah. However, she still remains pansexual or bi or whatever it is. So basically a female or a male can be with Shadowheart. Soooo basically the same-sex option stays

Yeahhhh. I am going to stick with a mod that makes Shadowheart more immersive and females still get to be with her. Because to play a female character and be locked out of a romance with Shadowheart, is kinda stupid. I mean not to mention the VA, herself, is for the ladies. This mod would never go in my game. I thought it would be cool until I saw Shadowheart would be unromanceble for females. Keep it up, I guess? So yeah this is a no for me.

If you want true immersion, then Shadowheart would've been dead before the game even started—her religious cult kills people for much less, let alone for being a lesbian.

To be honest, I'm certain the only reason Shadowheart was designed as a sharite priestess was because there was a prominent drow priestess in the original BG games and Larian wanted to bank on player nostalgia.

This is one based mod I thought I didn't need to install. All the companions are strange people one way or another, so assuming they're Greenwood® Horny kinda works - Halsin is a furry, Astarion overloads every gaydar within the Sword Coast, Lae'zel is from an egg-laying species, etc. So I'd just ignore or reject the romance-tinged options and move on, right? No big deal, and one less chance for bugs.

Then I woke up to find Wyll asking my Gale protag to dance in the cringiest, most sexually charged way, and it just ******* shattered the positive impression I had of him as the reasonable, reliable bro in a party of neurotics. Literally hit alt-f4, download, install, reload. Good work

It does the same thing as EBR, but probably isn't coded as well, it doesn't seem to work for everyone. But it has a no romance option so worth a try.

Tbh someone should probably reupload Really Shadowheart here or at least be ready to do so as a backup, wouldn't be surprised if some freak at nexus takes issue with the mod eventually

That is a good idea. I bet many here has a backup already, but I'll make one as well (you never know).

That said, it seems to be alot about how you frame your mod on Nexusmods, whether it gets taken down or not. There is a mod that goes a lot further than the Shadowheart mods on Nexus, but unfortunately it's outdated into the bronze-age and completely unusable. I was about to start a run through BG3 and hopefully get to the end this time, but I saw somewhere that Baldur's Better Aesthetics is about to get an update in a few days (unless I misunderstood), so I'm going to wait until it releases. Right now I'm trying to gauge whether I should wait for Even Better Romances as well, or if it will take a while and I should move on for now?

In my opinion Even Better Romance is the most important mod there is for BG3. The only one more important for me than NoAlphabet and Realms Restored. Really looking forwards to experience not getting sexually harrassed by my "friends" in BG3 anymore
