Vanilla Speedrunner 1.1 — Baldur's Gate 3

Collection of mods that are loaded in the game without needing to actually enable them.

• Mod Configuration Menu
• Configurable Movement Speed
• A mod I made to make Eldritch Blast and Blade Ward super OP so you can instakill ****

Now we just need one volunteer to speedrun the game and make save files or something... Just need to go Warlock for the Eldritch Blast and Blade Ward

Install
Drag and drop into your game's Data folder.

DO NOT ENABLE THE MODS IN BG3MM OR INGAME MOD MANAGER, THEY WILL BE ENABLED WITHOUT DOING THAT

Uninstall
Remove the following from your game folder

• Data\SPEEDRUNNER_Configurable_Run_Speed.pak
• Data\SPEEDRUNNER_EldritchMegaBlast.pak
• Data\SPEEDRUNNER_ModConfigurationMenu.pak
• Data\Mods\GustavX\meta.lsx

I would need to study the game to do a speedrun, but if you just need save spamming of various locations etc, I can help with that
Just recently installed the game again though, so I would need to remember how to install mods first but it shouldn't be long. it is just drag and drop, do not mind this line my mistake.
Could you give me more details on what saves you might have need of?

We are in desperate need of non gay save games of every major story event I think

The way I made this, you just drag and drop into your game’s data folder and intentionally don’t enable it. It’ll keep your save file as looking Vanilla

If I am understanding correctly, just these mods enabled and save before any major change. Could you give me some examples of story saves you might need? I recall reading one about the shadow druids, for example, would that be one? I will need more info as there is a lot of branching out with decisions, so I will need to know before I mistakenly go further from it without saving/make a decision that locks me from it

There are some Cheat Engine tables on Nexus that allow you to teleport to different acts and locations, change character flags, spawn characters, change relationship statuses, etc...

Really useful stuff for testing and troubleshooting.

Took me longer than expected as I had to re-learn how to play and was having some technical difficulties (love blasting everything and the infinite movement during combat for testing by the way!)

My main issue for speed is the enemies when they take a turn before I do, so if that can be fixed would be incredibly useful (I also do not feel faster when moving. I notice there is an increment in speed, but something like a permanent "potion of speed", if that even did accelerate movement I do not recall, or permanent dash would be useful (jump is also very useful, should have picked a Gith but did not think on it until it was too late, so bigger jump would also help, but truly, I can work with this )
Also, I am actually quite slow I think, but I am doing my best

Did you use Blade Ward? I made it so it gives you infinite health and adds +999 to your initiative

I was just coming back to correct my comment actually! I was triggering every possible dialogue and there were times I forgot to restore Blade Ward, so the battle started without it, so I thought it was a matter of chance that I was first at times, now I see, beautiful thing do have!
I am coming back to camp now (fighting my way through the goblins), next save will be in a moment (want to have Gale die first so I can have max approval in case it is still not enough for the camp scene, though it should be).

He is not giving me the "share a drink" dialogue, and is instead saying his condition is too volatile for more, not sure how to trigger the dialogue I remember, or if it even exists in this version of the game

From how he is talking the issue is that I learned of his curse (it has advanced too much and he is worried about it). If the dialogue is still there in the game I can reload and ignore him until right at the party (might actually evade his magical training dialogue actually! When I had that dialogue in Early Access, my character did not do any magical lessons with Gale, will go see now if that was the problem).

I wanted to do more as I recalled you needing others from the Tiefling party, but wanted to ask if you could give me a list of some sorts. Like with Gale, for example, some romances have different beginnings and dialogues, influenced by choices of early in the game, so I would need the specifics to know where to focus the playthrough/in what direction. I only played Early Access in a way where I payed close attention, and have experience with the triggers only with Gale and Astarion as they were my only party members, so I would have to learn the others, giving me a focus would help me understand what to look for/where to start. I can also move this in the HQ chat if you might need or anything of the sort

Why not use an AoE effect instead so you don't need to target all enemies? Take Acid Splash and give it 9999 radius and +9999 of each type of damage.

e: Or maybe you could copy some properties from Chain Lightning so it automatically chains to every enemy target.

I'm a bit worried of overbloating the change to the spells since I need the save files to load, but making it copy the Chain Lightning properties is genius. Imma do that
