I knew about rotating items because I watched the little pre release gameplay footage 900 times fully buying into all of the hype and lies including Todd acting like rotating items in the inventory was mankind's greatest new invention.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

Even Todd's under delivering back in those days was 110x better than the slop we get now despite the promises being even lower.

You'd be surprised how many people can't do even that by themselves. Also 14 years ago in most of the world internet was still a new thing for many.

Nothing about the average person being stupid surprises me. I think most people should have an illuminauti mind control brain chip put in their brain for their own good.

I've been gaming for 40 years and for all their flaws, no games came close to giving me a feeling of entering living breathing worlds like ES 3/4/5 did.

TES games have some of the most lifeless, sterile worlds
Oblivion is somewhat of an exception

Looks like i will wait for skyblivion instead of even downloading this crap until modders can fix the woke, bugs and lightning and whatever is controversy.
Truly can't wait for an ugly game with bad gameplay and gutted RPG mechanics to be ported to an ugly game with bad gameplay and gutted RPG mechanics

Gothic 1, for all of my gripes with it, did world simulation much better than Morrowind. I assume Gothic 2 improved on that aspect.

If Gothic 1 & 2 had proper marketing outside of germany they'd probably be nearly as well known as the TES games

Was kinda feeling that way about Two Worlds 2 until I reached mid-game ... But yeah reading you guys discussing it in the remaster thread got me pretty pumped. Probably starting those in 2025.

Need a mod to set the game in the UK because I get like 20 extra fps in overcast weather.

I recall there being a weather command Went searching, and indeed there is! Seeing as the console works, maybe copy pasting this might help
The following is a list of Weather IDs. To receive the weather you want, type in one of the following in the console:

sw <ID>
fw <ID>
"<ID>" is the actual weather's ID number.
Cloudy
38EF0

Foggy
38EEF

Oblivion Mountain Fog (not sure if "Oblivion" here means the red weather, but thought to include it just in case)
671A1

Raining (thought to include this one since we are talking about the UK XD )
38EF2

Here there are others in case that is not the one that works for you

Sooo why didn't Avowed have object physics again? Clearly not because of the engine.

Funny how you choose between Type 1 and Type 2 genders in character creation, but then you still run into enemies labeled as 'Female Bandit'.

Sssstttt, do not say it out loud, they may change it to "type 1 bandit" in future patches.

Well I wouldn't be surprised, I also noticed they removed gender-specific clothing, and there’s no longer any difference in body morphology between Bosmer, Orsimer, Nords, etc. Everyone has the same body type and height now (and female Khajiits have beards now.)
