TES Oblivion Remastered

Body types 1/2... Does AT LEAST this game has classes and different attributes for different races?
I'm curious. On Original Oblivion, Breton starts with 50 INT. Redguard with 30. Does it applies to this game? I'm curious.

If I had a button in front of me that killed everybody who uses pre-made classes in TES I wouldn't hesitate at all

Little slave ****
The lets plays I have seen from the beginning areas look better than expected. And no denuvo... if steam is right.
"I don't care what they tell you in College of Winterhold, Tiber Septim was a Redguard.”
I don't often give much weight to Twitter takes, but maybe they're onto something. Us chuds often fixate on trivial details that most people don’t find annoying or deal breaking—unless the game got launched disastrously broken like Starfield or Spider-Man 2, or the story is the dev lecturing you about how bad you are for disagreeing with their personal beliefs, like in Dustborn; I don't see any reason why you would get worked up over every new movie, game, or whatever thing comes out, only to let it ruin your mood for a few minutes, then forget about it.Valter wrote: ↑ April 22nd, 2025, 17:37Ignorance is blisspsychic_dream wrote: ↑ April 22nd, 2025, 17:10Sorry to go off on a tangent, but I was thinking: back in the Web 2.0 days—forums, blogs, early YouTube—was this same persistent negativity and apathy toward the gaming industry already there? Or is that a more recent trend we've somehow become trapped in, like a loop we can’t seem to break?
At the time, I don’t think many people were getting excited over simple remasters or remakes. Gaming still felt like the future. Why would anyone be excited about a supposed Final Fantasy VII remake for the PS3 when there was cool new stuff coming out all the time? Looking back at past game releases didn’t really make sense.
Are we just too jaded now about what’s happening in the industry? It feels like we’re always agitated and angry about whatever gets released—only for it to be forgotten within a few weeks.
Welp, $55 spent and refunded within 1 hour. My conscience feels clean again.
Did they fixed the level scaling ie - can I play at high levels without having to spam 6151531531653153 spells and sword strikes to kill random bandit?
But media didn't use to be so gay, that's why people complain. There were some standards, some expectations. Details do matter, and having standards is a virtue.psychic_dream wrote: ↑ April 22nd, 2025, 18:22I don't often give much weight to Twitter takes, but maybe they're onto something. Not to mention the time aspect. You say it's a waste to let it ruin your mood for a few minutes. But I find it more wasteful to eat up that slop and lapping it up for days. Yeah you can get ****** over the latest release being dogshit but you then (should) naturally move on with your day afterwards. Value your time.

RPGHQ stays winning. I'll always thank the ****** of reddit for introducing me to this site of glory. Through their reckless hate of @orinEsque's No Alphabets, I am now enlightened.

It seems you can’t get respectable performance without some sort of upscaling, even with a top-spec rig. Let’s hope the Skyblivion team delivers what we’ve dreamed of, something the hacks at Virtuous couldn’t manage.
I won't be getting it, but it looks alright. They kept the original music in it, which at least slots it above the Demon Souls 'remaster'.
No. It's the vanilla system we originally fixed.WaterMage wrote: ↑ April 22nd, 2025, 18:34Did they fixed the level scaling ie - can I play at high levels without having to spam 6151531531653153 spells and sword strikes to kill random bandit?
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.

Hard pass.
No patience to see common bandits with daedric armor soaking dozens of daedric hammer hits in their face from a warrior who mastered blunt weapons with 100 STR...

Import the buzzheavier URL with jdownloader
[edit]
My download kept getting interrupted so I'd recommend this, jdownloader automatically continues if it gets interrupted

The last time I tried Oblivion it was crashing all over the place. I doubt the remake will be any different.

People were even more "mean" back then, since the meme of toxic positivity perpetuated by ****** hadn't been popularized yet, and with gaming communities begin far more decentralized, and predominantly male, gamers weren't shy about expressing their displeasure with games.
