Felix goes upstairs. He tries to discuss the following, when opportunity presents itself.
To Brenna: I believe we've deserved our food and longing. Would you be so kind as to bring them here?
To George (I assume I can see that he's her husband): There's a burrow in the wall of your basement. It seems that the rats came from there. We've barricaded it, for the time being. We can't be sure how far it goes or how many rats could be in the nest. Somebody should watch over that hole at night. Maybe you can ask some of the lads to sit by the basement stairs? They should be able to hear if rats begin to chew through it again.
To all + locals + George (maybe not ask directly, but join the discussion): Have you met these rats previously? Can you tell us something about them? What's going on in the town in general, any rumours?

Also: eat and sleep.
George is maidenhaver, you mean Olwin
He doesn't know the characters! It makes rp sense.
XDD
Stein has 18 strength, I'm going to have him use that muscle and drag the giant rat's corpse up the cellar stairs and throw it down on a table. Regardless of the chaos this brings.
@Irenaeus In the near future, would I be able to get Stein to use his Survival skill to skin the rat and make a 'rat cloak'?
βΊ I figure the rat ruined Stein Von Steiner's clothing, some reciprocal action is in order.

Don't forget to roll for reaction and I will narrate in the next post the reactions of the innkeeper and the owner of the inn. It helps if you're polite and explain clearly the situation, but I understand if you want to roleplay your character a certain way.
I've rerolled reaction with 2d6. 3 and 8, lol. She probably tries to spit in my porridge and leaves me the shittiest bunk, and he shall give em the minimum necessary info.
From now on Felix eats and drinks only from the communal cauldron / beer barrel.

I was going to ask, for simplicity, for you to roll a single time for Reaction. However, if it's not too much trouble you can roll separately like DemoG did here.
Just saw Hrod's roll, Brenna REALLY doesn't want that hole in the wall to be enlarge doesn't she? XD Second time now it is a 1 about the topic.
That one's on me, I rolled 1d20 instead of 2d6.
I dropped another roll, but that's probably cheating, so yeah, Brenna probably wants her holes intact.
Considering the rolls are public and couldn't be smudged, I'd say we go with the maxxed out 2d6 roll. Hrod's argument makes sense and he's the one carrying huge troughs of water around, demonstrably being the fire fighter.

Plus Hrod probably caused the fire in the first place, chucking candles like that.
Still, it is as you said. You used a 1d20 instead od the 2d6, so it would, at least to me, make sense to only count the 2d6 and Brenna doesn't know who started the fire. Then again, I recall others doing a roll using different dice in the past, so it will be up to Irenaeus in the end.
Great gaming, everybody, thanks for joining me - even the readers. I'll incorporate Hrod's newly created exchange in the narrative, then post the aftermath of quest, paving the way to conclude the Prologue and opening the way for beginning Chapter 1. Consider the next in-game posts thoughtfully, if possible.
I assume the wounded can roll their Hit Dice to recover lost HP since we are actually resting? If so, @Gunthard should add a 1d3 to his roll since Norman's addressing his wounds.
I can add 1d3 to two more people if anyone else needs additional HP.
