I never owned any tabletop dolls, that is a correct assessment. I'm not reading the rest of that tho.

Nomodel secondaries once again pretending to be grognards despite not having been around for most if any of the supposed golden age of 40k.

I don't need disney+ to tell me your hobby's just mainstream, star wars looking popshit. It used to be edgy, like some iron maiden cover, now its safe for happy meals. I'm sorry you've sunk so much cost in games wokeshop that you can't admit that.

Woe to those who dare to incur the wrath of one of the most powerful organizations driven by unattainable ideals. No one can hide from the punishing hand of the Inquisition, and even a high origin will not be able to bring you salvation during a righteous trial.

Today we have great news for you, we are excited to announce that cooperative mode will be available on PC at launch! It will be introduced to consoles at a later date! We'll be back with the details soon enough, but for now - stay tuned!

I played Wasteland 3 in coop with my best friend over Christmas.

If you're tight with the person, 100% you can have fun. And I did. Would I ever do it again? Never. Would I do that with just anyone? Absolutely not.

Feels like it would have to at least be an easier game. We were playing on tactician and he kinda sucked so we had to reload so much. Felt like this: :headbang:

I played both DOS1 (both original and EE) and DOS2, as well as most of Wasteland 3 (but it kept crashing/desyncing so we gave up) in co-op with my girlfriend, and it was a lot of fun. That being said, DOS1 was a lot more fun than DOS2, because DOS2 has this really weird state of affairs where you're not really adventuring together, you're adventuring side-by-side. In DOS1 you frequently have interactions with eachother and important decisions are taken collectively, and the two player characters are vowen into the storyline (especially well-made pre-EE).

How well that is done has a huge impact on how good the game "feels" in co-op, in my opinion. And it wasn't a disaster to us (other than Wasteland 3, for technical reasons) because we're literally in the same room together. I can see it being a disaster if you play with randoms or ******** people; you really need to be on the same page on things, and I can't imagine even doing it online unless I was very close to someone. We literally read important text loud to eachother, because it is so easy to miss context or what is going on otherwise.

I expect the Rogue Trader CRPG to be ****, and I have no idea how Owlcat will make their established Kingmaker/Wrath style not be **** in co-op, but as long as they actually allow people to express themselves together and for the individual player-characters to come through without falling to Larian's lazy approach, I can see it being fun. But it's one of those things where "it doesn't matter what game we play as long as we play it together", which is why even something like D&D 5e can be "fun".

Even a ****** game gets "good" if you play it with the right people/in the right circumstances. Facilitating good co-op is actually a genius move by developers, because it smooths over a lot that would otherwise be criticized.

On vanilla tactician? I don't understand, DOS2 is **** easy, you should've been able to carry him if necessary, unless he was actively sabotaging you.

I ******* hate nu41k so much it's unreal. Being a Rogue Trader veteran, I don't want them to **** this up, but I know they will, if for no other reason than because James' Wokeshop can't help but to frustrate any any attempt at making anything good.

Fantastic lineup btw. All important factions are represented and you probably get secret evil companions if you go for chaos. Only slightly disappointed that the space marine rep is a space wolf, because there's other chapters that are much cooler and much less mary sue.

Humanity has many enemies in the universe, and only devotional service and commitment unite ordinary soldiers as an invincible whole, ready to repel any external threat. But at what cost?
