Wow, Tim Cain is a major bigot…
A lot of people, even people on this channel, are really into romancing companions. I just never got into that because it strikes me as, first of all, in a lot of games it feels like a weird add-on. It's like this person is wanting to do their side quest and they've joined you and all this, and then by the way, as soon as they get back to camp, they're like, "Ooh, you're hot!"

Also, to make it work with no matter what kind of player character you've made, the male companions have to hit on you, the female companions have to hit on you, the different races that the companions can be have to hit on you. So if there's a lizard man and there's a demon and whatever, they all hit on you. And it just makes the world feel like, "Wow, the world is full of all these really horny people."

It's... if that's not what I want, then I don't want that to be reflected in the companions. So often I'm just, "Let's take romance off the table."

More like GAY morality.

Anyway, Geezmo is the worse choice because he's a casino owner and gambling is a sin before god. Any wealth gained by sinful means is in itself sinful. This is lost on the gaytheist roosty I-Don't-Believe-In-God-leford. Sheriff what's-his-face is the better choice, even if the town remains a shithole. Being the better choice doesn't mean it's perfect.

Ton didn't kill le bad people because they were bad, he routinely killed them for stupid or selfish reasons and oftentimes he was worse than any of em. This is also lost on roosty I-Have-A-Child's-Understanding-Of-Media-leford. Sad!

I wish more developers would say this because it’s a legit problem that devs actively avoid addressing in RPG’s.

The slave thing is your own headcanon and thus to be disregarded without further comment.

Killian, on the other hand, is very fair and impartial, but he follows the letter of the law. Our original slide implied that Junktown does not do well under him. It suffers, mainly because justice is not—justice is never as easy as a rulebook, and that's how Killian treats the law. You know, the most minor infraction must be punished horrifically.
At least some if not a very significant amount of people that would have been safe under Gizmo would end up at the hands of raiders/slavers.
NCR did not even exist yet. There was nobody patrolling the wastes to keep the slavers & gangs in check. The only thing close to safety was a well-guarded town.

I can just as well assume that Geezmo would've started a child sex ring and say roosty supports child sex trafficking.

Provide some evidence for it and sure.
Fallout Bible wrote:
Didja know... in the original write-up of Junktown, the "ending sequence" was reversed from its current incarnation. That is, in the endgame slideshow, if the player had favored Killian, the original write-up was something like "With Gizmo out of the way, Killian enforces his brand of frontier justice on Junktown. The city remains orderly but small, as travelers steer away from his rigid sensibilities," and the picture background behind Killian was a gallows with shadows of dead men hanging from it. If the player favored Gizmo, it was "Under Gizmo's leadership, Junktown becomes a trading center and resort, where people come from miles around to gamble, spend money and enjoy themselves in relative safety. Gizmo keeps the town prosperous but healthy, as he has no desire to injure his own affluence. The inhabitants of the town become wealthy and famous," with the background picture showing Junktown as a Reno-like casino with electricity and clean streets free of any drug dealers or riff-raff who might endanger Gizmo's operations. Marketing decided at the last minute that we had to "reward good and punish bad," though, so the sequence was changed to its current incarnation.

Evidence: It's a wasteland full of raiders and slavers.

What do you think was going to happen to them? It's even a major plot point that Shady Sands gets raided and Tandi is taken into slavery. But I'm going to guess you've never actually played Fallout.

So more headcanon?

Evidence: New Reno's families engage in gambling, prostitution and slavery. What do you think a guy like Geezmo would engage in? But I'm going to guess you've never actually played Fallout 1 or 2.

He doesn't actually explain the downside of picking Gizmo. If everyone is objectively better off under him, then what is the 'grey' part?
"heh you get to pick between a town not existing or the town thriving, what a grey morality choice!"
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Again, the alternative is leaving people to the raiders and slavers.

There is one choice that is objectively better by every measure.

Gambling, prostitution and slavery are also part of the world canon, as I have stated previously already. Can you read?

Seems like consensual prostitution for a handful of women is preferable to sex slavery for most women.

What an *******! Mass effect 1 and Dragon Age: Origins offered good system for romances. Just add flags that is checked race and sex, but no, this ****** can't talk about doing a little more work and putting little more effort than bare minimum.

She doesn't suggest otherwise in her dialogue.
