The new Deus Ex game always felt like a massive downgrade in terms of the story /writing department that had as much depth as a kiddie pool. As much as enjoy the gameplay by the time I finished Mankind Divided I was ready to done with the series . I don’t even want to think about want there were planing to cook in the cancelled last game in the prequel trilogy.

This series had to die and I'm fine with that. I would prefer the former Sarif VA writing the next Deus Ex game than a woman. At least then the ****** theories are entertaining.

I do have a confession to make. I did not finish MD (I have before). I got to the final mission, reached Miller, and then quit the game intending to resume the next day. However, after waking up from a hang over and chugging pre-workout, I got this insane headache and a revelation hit me. I hated this game. This rant was written directly after.

You aren't missing anything, just a lazy final boss and a mediocre cliffhanger unfinished ending.

Says she was lead writer on HR not MD

Say you're sorry Rusty.

Anyway, HR sucks balls and people who like it are definitely soy/anime/furry *******, and MD is a flawed but p. good DX game.

They undermine the illuminati and deep state plots with this victimhood arc of "please feel bad for those who willingly entered into servitude to get augments or spent millions augmenting themselves".
Im pretty sure that it is mentioned in game, that corporations demand to install augments while hiring workers, because it increases productivity and go in line with Illuminati plan to use augments to control people, you can't get a job without it. "You either die out of hunger or get augments, job and salary" not description of "willingly".
