If it makes you feel any better, sir... the T-shirt is to raise funds for a non-profit that helps animals. It's 100% pure and clean.
But, I mean, if you dislike the design... well... that's nothing I can help with. LOL

i think starfield will make ppl appreciate fallout4.
as rpg it was trash but companions and looting really could carry it. there was that white trash irish *****, the slutty french accent *****, even piper wasnt so bad. lots of fan service to healthy male player that has not yet lost his balls.
starfiled companions will be trash. modders wont fix it (at least to level in previous games), its hard for em to make good/fleshed out followers (not just cardboard tits holder). making enjoyable follower requires combining many qualities into dev (good artistic taste, graphic design, coding, animation, ai voice acting/audio editing etc). plus its plenty of effort to implement it into game etc. its something really hard for modders to replicate compared to corp workload/resources.
i think good followers, even tho expensive to make, could save almost any woke mess game jewthesda made. but it seems the weakest part of the game.

Imagine using companions in an action RPG. That is something I will never do in my life, Dragon's Dogma excluded.

Companions make or break games for me, I don't even like directly controlling other characters in combat — I prefer systems that let you give orders.

This is why I don't like companions in action RPGs. You don't control them. I don't want to have to rely on ******** AI in battle. Even if you could control them, switching characters in an action RPG is gay and slows down the combat. FF7 Remake comes to mind.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ August 12th, 2023, 14:21Companions make or break games for me, I don't even like directly controlling other characters in combat — I prefer systems that let you give orders.

If you aren't fine with companion AI then why do you accept the same AI from enemies?GhostCow wrote: ↑ August 12th, 2023, 14:23This is why I don't like companions in action RPGs. Because I like winning. Companions are usually made invulnerable to make up for their **** AI, which is also gay.

So I hear Starfield is now the new Total Transformer Annihilation game worked on by gigabigoted Devs that hate everyone but especially transformer. Is my information correct? B/c I didn't even hear about this game before. And the fact its Bethesda Shovel ware makes me doubt it.
nonsense, companions are not there for combat ai (altho their behaviour should be adjustable), companions are there to remove sterility and add connection and animation to game world. at least in rpg or quasi rpg. its job is not as much as gameplay but rather as part of illusion. if scene has no objects, even if those objects are clutter, its not belivable.GhostCow wrote: ↑ August 12th, 2023, 14:23This is why I don't like companions in action RPGs. at very least companions should be mobile decorative furniture pretending to be of use.
ye thats horrible, kills immerssion for me more than anything. always mod that **** out first. if u break story and essential dies u can usually console your way out.GhostCow wrote: ↑ August 12th, 2023, 14:29Because I like winning. it best to keep followers at back as support and save often if they glitch out. also forces u to think a bit more altho from not best reasons.
in skyrim u can make level 10 npc demi god with enough enchanted butt plugs, even with vanilla enchanting, there is really no need for that immortal bleed out ********.
buggy/imperfect content still better than no content tho.

In oblivion and morrowind i thought sometimes "this a little lonely, wish I had somebody with me". Played fallout 3 and nv with companions. Rarely used them in Skyrim. Only used them when quests required in Fallout 4. They just get in the way too much, and hearing the same line over and over, oof.GhostCow wrote: ↑ August 12th, 2023, 14:11Imagine using companions in an action RPG. Probably won't use them in starfield. Even if the companions were good I'd rather have them crewing my ship than following around at my heels.
The only companion I had in Skyrim was the one voiced by Laura Bailey, because her voice is as sweet as honey. But otherwise, I was rolling alone.

she sounds best in bloodrayne games. im using **** ton of assets of that ***** for custom follower, i was hand mixinng it and now supplementing/replacing with ai generation which gives even better results than va.The_Mask wrote: ↑ August 12th, 2023, 17:14The only companion I had in Skyrim was the one voiced by Laura Bailey, because her voice is as sweet as honey. skyrim had some really good followers, like erandur, they were just kind of hidden unlike cardboards like lydia, u didnt had to meet them during main quest. ofc number of lines was limited but that shouldnt be case in modern game, just like hiring va. AI can literally do anything now when comes to voice. va cost is no longer factor its literally free now.

Skyrim companions were more of a hindrance than anything, because they would block your path more often than not. If a companion's AI is not up to snuff, I'd rather not have them at all.
funny i always had issue with them clearing path to much and not staying close in place when needed. still had not found solution to this as SetDontMove removes head tracking. in aft u can regulate how close they will follow if i recall. also in vanilla i think they were triggering obvious traps so that was kinda game breaking.KnightoftheWind wrote: ↑ August 12th, 2023, 18:55Skyrim companions were more of a hindrance than anything, because they would block your path more often than not. Personally for me:
I don't value "reviewer" opinions.. most of them are disgusting and I wouldn't trust those morons to bag my groceries
-AND-
More importantly.. I hate the idea that some fat ****** gets to play the game before me just cause he runs a blog out of a broom closet in San Francisco or whatever.

i hadn't considered this point but you're right. The companions were a large part of what made fallout 4 enjoyable.Red7 wrote: ↑ August 12th, 2023, 12:16i think starfield will make ppl appreciate fallout4.
