Their tools seem more powerful than BG3 after a quick glance. You have full access to everything it seems.
Full access to create custom quests, modify the world, add world areas, change anything with the vanilla game.

Bruh... They have two completely different asset pipelines for static vs animated art assets. Modders gotta spend 25 000 dollars on software to get started modding.

(Obviously you can use Blender with conversion plugins or just Pirate this **** - just kinda silly. Typical scrappy eurojank workflows)

I'd imagine that adding in new assets will be a chore. Hopefully, creating new quests with the existing assets (plus editing out the woke crap from the main quest) will be easier to accomplish. Although, I doubt anyone will be able to make major changes to gameplay short of the switches that people already knew about.

You can't mod out the horrendous modern dialogue, you'd have to rewrite 2+ million words to get it to the same state as the first game.

I like long form reviews and critiques, going really in-depth talkin about something I'm interested in

A 15 or 10 minute video about a movie or game is basically worthless to me.

I do agree however that there are not a lot of channels that are actually good at what they're doing and have something worthwile to say. Le redditor video essayist you describe is indeed peak cringe.

I listened to it all at 2x speed. It's a good review and hits all of the issues with the game. It's a shame because the framework is there for something that could be way better.
