anything to make him more masculine. i noticed how so many of the men speak in such extremely soft and tender vulnerable voices, while the women usually speak with command. and the guys are always in the feminine position when theres a man and a woman in a scene. like when Kannon got killed and Arka and her friend are standing above the corpse, the male tiefling is the soft-boy while Arka is the "badass" that goes to kill the goblin in the cage. thisd be alot more fitting if Arka was a guy and her friend was a girl tryina talk him down from killing the goblin. and the horror that theyve done to the tiefling children... a group of boys led by a girl, Mol, and theyre the scared cowardly ones whereas Mol is the embodiment of courage. lol then with Rolan and his siblings, his brother Cal and sister Lia suffer the same problem as Arka and her friend. Lia is the one shouting loudly talking about staying and helping out, while Cal is really just being non-confrontational and speaking with that same soft voice as Arka's friend. its funny how much girlbossing and soft-boying happens in just the Grove alone. i dont think i ever met a guy who would act as softly as some of these male tieflings. lol

I don't think it was intended but I liked it.

You first meet him when you're both level zilch, then he beelines for Baldur's Gate to file a complaint while you do 100 hours of questing, so when you meet again you're an avatar-killing hero and he's still a bitchy scrub but still thinks you're at his level. So you get to whoop his arrogant *** with one hand tied behind your back (= at long rest with no spells and maybe some leftover wounds).

Kinda like Bondari in ToB, minus the fourth wall breakage.

Are you planning / would you consider switching out the two characters entirely? Switch the models and names while keeping the (pitch adjusted) lines so the dad is the one getting angry etc.

I respect the effort, but I think it's actually counterproductive to give everyone deep voices and strong bodies if they still keep objectively acting like pussies. As in, it sends the opposite message.

Vanilla Zevlor, to me, came across as well-meaning but past his prime and/or over his head already in Act 1, and the Act 2 events only seemed a natural consequence of that. Taken in isolation he's a very well written character, and the reason he ends up rubbing us the wrong way is because of the (((pattern))) of girlbosses and soyjacks everywhere.

But if you turn him and other failures into some kind of gigachad purely in appearance, the result looks like an even more hilariously feminist parody where gigachads always fail and girlbosses always win.

Giving them massive frames is off the table due to conflicts with animations. Zevlor is well written, but rather than looking like a seasoned warrior past his prime, they made him look like your geriatric grandpa on his deathbed.

How to get rid of Ser Aelen's Beard

1. Diagnosed issue with Aelen always having a beard. It's an override, so delete the Beard mod from your Mod Manager and make sure its not in your Mods folder if you want to get rid of the beard.

One. Medieval times, men had long hair and it wasn't gay to do hair. they used to braid it Dwarves braid their beard too.
Two and this is most important: it's a hassle changing lines.
