Jesus Christ. Chris "I nearly got raped by these subhumans in court" Avellone voting for the slob that... the people who tried to rape him in court most likely voted for.

Make it make sense, please.

My underlying silent question was how can he still be a libtard after everything he went through.

He still has my respect for what he did in the past, but it's just sad to see what old age can do to you, holy smokes.
It isn't old age, while someone can "learn" from age and develop a more seasoned understanding of things, this takes a willingness to achieve growth. If one all of a sudden "becomes a dipshit" in old age, it is more likely they were always a dipshit, they just hid it better.

Basically, it is like a bad driver. Just because you have been driving for 20 years doesn't make you an "good" driver, it merely makes you an experienced "bad driver".

According to reports, the CEO is “not going to speak directly to what is happening” but instead will “let it blow over”. True leadership.

Sheesh - either way, at least take a stand?

Oh, and interesting, based on the Slack messages, Digimancy (another game company) seems to be working with them, too.

I recognized Kevin J. Anderson. I think he wrote some stuff for the more recent DUNE books.

Other than that I don't recognized anyone else either.

Michael Stackpole wrote a bunch of X-Wing, BattleTech, and other sci-fi slop and designed some RPG splatbooks. He also was the lead (?) writer for Wasteland 2 and worked on several Interplay games in the 80s.

Dug this up and and preserving it in this thread for posterity.
Fall-From-Grace was a succubus, but we made her a puritan succubus in the sense that she didn't engage in you know sexual contact but what she did was, she was more about just going out and you know learning more about the universe learning more about people. She was one of the wisest characters in the game, she's one of the smartest characters in the game, she was pretty powerful, and she acted as a really good sounding board for the character and it was partly a rebellion against the game Diablo at the time - which technically isn't Diablo's fault - but when we were doing Torment, Diablo had come out and all I would hear in the corridors after-hours - and sometimes during lunchtime and sometimes during the afternoon - was hundreds upon hundreds of succubi and Diablo dying again and again and again and all the sound effects that they had for the succubus in Diablo were just totally like over-sexed and just like over the top and it really irritated me.
Additionally, the woman interviewing him in the video would later ruin his career by accusing him of sexual assault. A big-time woman-respecter getting what he didn't know he was asking for.

https://www.eurogamer.net/chris-avellon ... ge-of-rpgs
Games writer and designer Chris Avellone - whose previous credits include the likes of Fallout: New Vegas, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 - has joined up with Republic Games to work on the studio's upcoming release.

Republic Games was set up last year by Adam Williams, the former lead writer for Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human and Star Wars Eclipse, with backing from Krafton. At this time, it was revealed the team was working on a handcrafted "dark, mature fantasy RPG".

Now, announcing Avellone's new position at Republic Games, Williams said the studio was "very excited to work with Chris", and has shared a few more details on what players can expect on the upcoming game's arrival.

"As you'd expect from the team, our RPG will feature a rich, interesting story with lots of meaningful choices, branches, and endings," Williams told Eurogamer today. "Our world will feature a totalitarian regime seeking to crush a rebellion, with competing factions and allegiances the player can join, giving them the full freedom to create the hero - or antihero - they want to be.

"There is also a deep undercurrent of prophecy and the supernatural which will elevate the player's adventure into the realms of mythology. But in addition to the narrative, we also have full, classic RPG gameplay - including combat, character creation, recruitable companions, romances and more. Our ambition is to combine that 'golden-age of RPGs' design with a next-level interactive storytelling."
seems like that thing he was working with Robert Kurvitz has peter out and died on the vine.
