Yes, it took me a moment to realize he wasn't satirizing what he'd previously written.

Can i emulate games with a steamdeck? Does my computer need to be on while i use the steamdeck?
Yup, Emudeck is your best bet at emulating games. It has a ton of neat features including cloud saves. I recommend making a separate Jewgle account due to it having the highest amount of free storage at 15GB. Be warned, it may take a few days to make the account though since they made phone numbers mandatory and the system may randomly reject you for no reason. If you truly need more than 15GB storage for saves, I recommend using pCloud which has the cheapest plan at $5/$50 monthly/yearly for 500GB of storage.

https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/inde ... ator_files
Here is a website with all the BIOS files you will ever need for any emulator. You can look at this guide if you need a visual indicator:
► Show Spoiler
(This is the BIOS file directory for SD Cards --> */run/media/mmcblk0p1/Emulation/bios/ )
(This is the BIOS file directory for the default storage --> */home/deck/Emulation/bios/ )

You will need to download ROMs, unzip them, and put them in their respective folder in order for them to work properly.
(This is the ROM file directory for SD Cards --> */run/media/mmcblk0p1/Emulation/roms/[GAME SYSTEM NAME HERE] )
(This is the ROM file directory for the default storage --> */home/deck/Emulation/roms/[GAME SYSTEM NAME HERE] )

If you want to transfer ROMs from your PC to Steam Deck, I recommend using Winpinator(PC) + Warpinator(SteamDeck) to make transferring files much more convenient!

Keep in mind that you will need to download the Citra and Yuzu emulators separate from Emudeck. They are needed to play 3DS and Switch games respectively. You can also play Switch games with Ryujinx. The difference between Yuzu and Ryujinx is that Yuzu is more efficient yet has less compatibility with games than Ryujinx. If a game can't run properly on Yuzu, try using Ryujinx instead. You'll need to add the emulators as Non-Steam Games in Desktop Mode in order to launch them in Gaming Mode: When in desktop mode, you right-click (L2) on the icon that launches the emulator (in the file explorer) and there should be an "Add to Steam" shortcut, which will perform the function as manually opening steam and clicking "Add Non-Steam Game".
You'll need to launch the emulators on Desktop Mode to choose the folder where you keep your 3DS/Switch ROMs. (I recommend making a clearly labelled folder on your Desktop for maximum convenience.) From there, you can launch them on Gaming Mode and set up the controls and other settings normally.

I appreciate this post and your time. I will probably get one at some point and reference this. :dice:

After struggling to play for more than an hour of Gothic 1 at a time, I accidentally sunk about 125 hours into Terraria in the last two-three weeks.

Currently dirt cheap considering current peak is maybe 100 people? Still, if we can get some people together maybe it will be playable?

Roadside Picnic. Any eurojank game that includes "anomolies" and has a slightly sci-fi survivalist setting is referencing it. I think rusty made a comprehensive list a while back.

It's the slav equivalent of including 0451 in your game.

Funny, Kalemonvo comes out on my birthday, that's a great unintentional gift kek

Think fast and battle the Evil Axis forces to liberate Europe.
I'm so tired of this gay premise.

Plague Lords looks genuinely cool, great find! The Diablo 1 clone too.

The rest is, dunno - ****** are now going to release a shitton of soulslikes after the success of the monke game. The metroivania one just seems more of the same. Is there even a market for a two dozen games in the genre to be released each year?

Now that you mention it, Grit and Valor is out of my wishlist, since I only looked at the title and screenshots.
It could find its way back IF they do a Axis campaign. (which they probably won't)

The Metroidvania (Mandragora) looked pretty cool since it had classes and was less like a metroidvania and more an action rpg sidescroller? And yeah ****** do these but atleast they try to make them somewhat interesting. Demo was fine to play. Good graphics, gameplay was fluid, didn't feel clunky.

I tried the Grit and Valor demo, because I keep desperately hoping for a new mech game as good as MissionForce:Cyberstorm.

It was bad.
