Rimworld Episode 38: The New DLC Comes Out In Like 5 Hours And My Mods Won't Be Compatible Anymore
I'd like to use a TC for Duke to gain 1 passion point in Shooting.

Unless you have a better idea, like if Intellectual or Artistic can work with Crafting/ Tailoring to make better or unique things, I think it's best to put one into Tailoring, and one into Shooting.Oyster Sauce wrote: β February 19th, 2025, 22:14Chuck rolls the Die of Heaven and gets a 17, earning him 2 passion points he can put in any skill.

Also I see there's one coin, so I guess you can do a romance attempt on whichever lass has the highest relationship, since you're going on about it

Assuming "Slob" is a negative trait, Waifu will spend 2 TC to remove it.
Interestingly, while I was trying to find out what Slob actually does, I discovered that this thread appears on the first page of Google results if you search "rimworld slob trait".

There are two traits called slob. The redundancy is because they're both from mods. I picked the first one because I thought it matched the e-girl vibe.WhiteShark wrote: β February 19th, 2025, 22:52Assuming "Slob" is a negative trait, Waifu will spend 2 TC to remove it.

oof, hope Musa didn't lose anything important when he got shot up.

This game looks fun but i donβt think my autism level is high enough to enjoy it.
It's nowhere near Dwarf Fortress autism and doesn't require you to do things like memorize hotkeys. Pretty approachable.Wretch wrote: β February 20th, 2025, 03:34This game looks fun but i donβt think my autism level is high enough to enjoy it.

@Oyster Sauce is there a way to increase reputation between 2 colonists?
Would putting a passion point into shooting be a bit pointless if it maxes out at 20? If so, I might consider changing where I place it if it's not too late.
There's a bit of passive skill loss at the higher levels so it would help you maintain it, but we're fighting so frequently it wouldn't matter that much.Jordy wrote: β February 20th, 2025, 08:30Would putting a passion point into shooting be a bit pointless if it maxes out at 20? I'll just put it into shooting because I can't be bothered thinking of what else to put it into.Oyster Sauce wrote: β February 20th, 2025, 15:06There's a bit of passive skill loss at the higher levels so it would help you maintain it, but we're fighting so frequently it wouldn't matter that much.Jordy wrote: β February 20th, 2025, 08:30Would putting a passion point into shooting be a bit pointless if it maxes out at 20? Is my turtlecoin total correct or did you forget to deduct for the trait I asked for?

Episode 21: Orange Man Good!
Duke bravely steps up to the warcasket foundry

Vitya welds the armor around him and wires his nervous system directly into the suit

And then, hours later, Duke emerges. More armor than man.

We get a quest to take in some guests for a while. Our freezer is overflowing with food so it's a good opportunity to clear some out.
Chuck tries to use Val's line on Waifu and doesn't even get a response

The barbed wire around our ditch is coming along nicely

A slave chops up hops into wort and then lets it simmer in barrels for a few weeks to make beer. I don't know anything about making beer IRL but this is probably accurate.

Feels good having a decently sized construction crew

OGTOW

The deathrest caskets have been enhanced with blood-powered machinery that provided additional buffs after vampires go for their little snooze. In the middle is some dumbass tap I didn't really understand the purpose of so now it's just there being ugly. Oh, the regrets I have.

This is new.

We're completely surrounded on all sides. Everybody scrambles in every direction to man a different part of the walls

Even the old women and children who are visiting us get drafted.

They're all just chanting slurs and hatefacts at us from afar without closing in, so Duke sets forth to test his new warcasket and correct the record.

One shot

Two shot. In addition to the armor, he has a warcasket autorifle with 20x82mm autocannon rounds, the sort of thing you'd see welded to a boat.

This provokes the remaining 148 of them to start rushing in. One day we'll finish this wall, but for now at least the barbed wire is getting some scratches in.

Duke's just out there having a great time

That little blue dot all the way to the west is him holding that entire flank

As usual, the main problem with cultists is their ability to shake off dying one time

They're running in from the east

And stopping to beat the **** out of turtles

8 year old Orson is letting them have it with his volcanic pistol

Tangerine meets an invader at the door

**** outta here

The champ

A passing dwarf tribe takes one out from behind

Some more clever cultists start burning our gosh darned cotton field

A bullet flies through the embrasure and catches grandma in the face. Despite Musa's best efforts, she bleeds out on the ground.

One of the bearded dwarf ladies gets rattled by a sniper. The final victim of the cult before the battle ends.

It's getting to be impossible keeping this place clean

That night, a slightly familiar looking obelisk crash lands from ******* space right into our field.

Not really directly. You can improve your social skill, get traits like Beautiful, get aesthetic body parts installed, or ask me to make sure you're on the same sleep schedule.Faceless_Sentinel wrote: β February 20th, 2025, 07:42@Oyster Sauce is there a way to increase reputation between 2 colonists?

@Oyster Sauce, lets try to improve Vitya social skill and make him to romance Waifu once again.

@Oyster Sauce I spend my coins on another trait that makes Tangerine better in melee combat. Pick whatever you think is best.
Edit: Shattering someone's head with knuckledusters is a good start, but I think we can do better.

@Oyster Sauce Is there a positive trait I can pick that would go well with the warcasket?

@Oyster Sauce Chuck is feeling self-conscious so he asked me to roll the D8 of Time.
