Negro/Eyptian? You mean Giatta? She seems fine so far, atleast they made her pretty enough (for a negress)
As the only female human, mods to fix her hair, skin, and makeup are guaranteed.

That Yatzli thing needs serious mesh work, not just texture/coloration mods. The face is weirdly proportioned and gross and the body is weird-skinny and dumpy at the same time.

Passable face (still needs to be non-humaned a bit nose and mouth):

Too human and too furry all at once:

The ingame model looks more like a woman that contracted an extremely unfortunate disease

One major difference is the proportion of the iris, as well as the shape of the pupil. The other thing: they should decide whether the face has fur or not, but this in between compromise looks like face-paint.

Methinks that the only way there would even be any form of true modding community around this gane is if it manages to become at least a fraction of the commercial success that BG3 was.
It's Unreal, there will be no modding.

It's Unreal. They're all like this now.

Not too long ago Vavra went on a rant about why Unreal sucks for big RPGs

Cope. If you gave ue5 to the people who made morrowind you'd have gotten a better morrowind. You get full source access with the engine.

Obsidian has been using UE4/5 for a decade now since they started production of Outerworlds. "muh engine is holding me back", 10 ******* years is more time than it took to go to the ******* moon from the day the program began.

Despite all my hate towards UE5 I admit there are good looking games on this engine. I liked technical aspect of The Talos Principle 2 for example.
It was UE4.
I suspect studios are forced to use UE5 with Epic's support cause it's cheaper considering influx of incompetent modern devs into industry than to teach them how to use anything else.

UE5 is just a minor version bump of UE4 with a new major version number for marketing reasons. It's nothing like UE3->4

Why bother anyway?

I just kind of see this desire to fix these games akin to trying to make a ****** more presentable so you can justify going on a date with them to yourself.

Don't need to fix this crap, need to throw it into the dumpster and move on.

This is how we ended up with **** dominating society in the first place.

Overwhelming majority of npcs are women and brown/black and overwhelming majority of men also brown/black are pussy soybois, bg3 wasnt like this.
What? BG3 was very much like this. Laezel = warrior girlboss who literally tries to "dominate you and peg you lol. Shadowheart= emo girlboss untill she changes to Selune. Vlakith = godess of all the girlbosses, bow down. Jaheira: Druid girlboss. How about black ****** boss of the circus. Lets not forget Aylin the flying asimar lesbo girl boss who fears no man! Almost everyone in Flaming Fist and other groups is black, female black npcs that interact with player are everywhere  Gale is trying to force you to cuddle with him under the stars, lets not even talk about Astarion. Also totally subverting the concept of good and evil, making literall hellspawn devils the oh so poor good guys and player being shamed for being mean to them..i mean imagine playing as a paladin and saving the hellspawn

Good to see an informative video with some actual solid examples taken out of the gameplay. Looks like the situation here is even worse than in BG3

Summary:
The bligger fishman is sexualised and has bigger tits than any woman ingame.
The two male companions are both gay, but even then, they're depicted as inferior to the female ones.
Every active figure of the story is female, whether evil or good. All males are depicted as stupid, snakey or weak.
The entire game feels like it was written to appease & pander to women.
It's near enough the exact same story as Veilguard.
The "Empire" are evil, and basically all White.
When a woman wizard suggests indiscriminately sacrificing randomers to purify the Blight, it's the correct choice, bigot.
When an orc kidnaps a little girl, you're a racist for killing him, instead of helping him. You just committed a hate crime, bigot.

Yes, this is easily far worse than BG3.

No one has actually done this so I have doubts.

Recent UE RPGs aside from Avowed, you have Bard's Tale IV (bad performance, lousy), Outer Worlds (is what it is), Weird West (designed with im sim principles but not an ur-example of living, breathing world), Hogwarts Legacy (shallow Ubislop; initially designed with more role-playing features but they had to cut those to ship). RPG-adjacent STALKER 2 was a great disappointment compared to the x-ray original.

Future UE RPGs include Bloodlines 2 (lol), Outer Worlds 2 (an enhanced version of the first is my prediction), Clockwork Revolution, WolfEye's next first-person im sim (not an open world, a corridor you run through with no loading screens they claim), Blood of the Dawnwalker, Witcher 4 (Vavra says they're having issues), Pithead Studios's yet-another-likely-inferior-Gothic-clone. Really seems unlikely any of these titles will have a big interactive world the way Bethbryo does them. You've mentioned yourself that KCD on Cryengine doesn't have anywhere near close the level of interaction and that was made on a better-than-UE-for-it.

No wonder there was little to no marketing for this game. I think even Microsoft knew that they had a stinker on their hands with Avowed.

The strangest thing is that both male companions, Kai and Marius, frequently talk about women - hinting at past relationships, commenting on those they meet, and even giving relationship advice. Nothing in the game suggests they might be gay. Their personal quests (gay part) feel tacked on, as if added after their characters were already established. Given how disjointed the dialogue is throughout the game, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was no editor or lead writer ensuring consistency.

This could be deranged writers trying to push these guys as bi- or pan- sexual. Especially after seeing how praised all BG3's playersexual companions were. Perhaps they were hoping that by opening this door their creations will do just as much of an impact in all them tumblr/fanfic enviorments, aiming higher than they're capable of, lol

It's mostly misandrist, anti-white ideology running on their weak NPC brains.

Carrie Patel was one of the writers pushing for "everyone is *****" in Deadfire and The Outer Worlds. Tim Cain stopped her on the latter, she had full control here.

Buy? No. But I was curious enough (and not disgusted enough unlike with Veilguard) to check it out. Oh, and I never played Outer Worlds. Maybe that helped.

It's not a massive leap for sure, but the draw distance improvements are pretty neat. Something Black Desert Online could learn from. Dumb Koreans are so blind they left a mega short draw distance in every version of their game and everybody is fine with it.
