Why has "Echoes of the Plum Grove" not been adopted as RPGHQ.ORG's official game yet?

For discussing role-playing video games, you know, the ones with combat.

Why has "Echoes of the Plum Grove" not been adopted as RPGHQ.ORG's official game yet?

This farming simulator has something for everyone. Set in the 1700s, in this historical farming and community development simulation you can create the town of your dreams. Start with your own small landholding and build it up into a prosperous farm to Find love and grow a family that you can play across multiple generations!

And that's not all!

  • Choices and consequences - what crops you grow and who your friends are can influence the future of the town!
  • Survival! - craft, forage, and cook to make it through the harsh winters. Are you prepared?
  • Interact! - the people of Honeywell have their own schedules: help them in their tasks or begrudge them your company/
  • A health system - take care of your characters and keep them healthy so they don't die from smallpox, influenza, or syphillus.
  • Marriage: Marry who you want because love is love. Gay and bisexual characters are common in our 1700s village, so feel no judgement!
  • Have children: You and your spouse can start a family. Yes, even men can have anal pregnancy (Yes, this is real.)

Not convinced yet? Here are some in-game screens to persuade you!

Master and slave working together in the field. But which is which, I wonder?

Time for the town Christmas non-denominational religion-free winter soltice party!

So, HQAnons - why haven't YOU played this yet? I expect this to be on the Game of the Year list next time.

It's awfully generous of the plantation owners to allow the slaves into the house for the holidays.
