I hope the game completely falls apart after the first act or so, like Wrath. That would be the best outcome. It'll still get Codex GOTY simply because of cope and sunk cost sperging.

We still recommend deleting your save files/mods and doing a fresh install of Baldur’s Gate 3 in preparation for August 3!

Insignificant. Nearly every file has changed since the early access version. You might save a few mb at most

Last update was earlier this year, unless the existing assets got a lot of work since then you should be saving a significant amount. I don't think they've done much work on the first act since then. Could be wrong, I suppose.

Larian themselves have already said that pretty much everything has changed. Didn't DOS2 change a bunch of stuff to keep the parts that were available in EA fresh for release? I knew from the start that they'd do the same thing here.

DOS2 EA never changed after the original build, so release was way different from EA.
