Your based Western game dev everyone. Again, I want these anti-woke grifters to look their audience in the face and tell them bold face that this game and Vavra aren't woke. The fact that they are dying on this hill is really something to behold.
I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. :notsureif:

Veilguard never felt like a humiliation ritual. It was just your typical preaching by LGBTQ activists. The type you would see from your average community college or Twitter activist. You knew immediately what you were getting into when you bought the game. Here you are constantly humiliated, are force to see European and Christian culture degraded and can do nothing but take it like a good little cuckold. However, the most unforgivable aspect of the game is that Warhorse lied to people. I think if they were honest from the start the backlash wouldn't have been as bad as it has been. However, they had to be sneaky and I have a strong feeling that we will be seeing game devs do more of that in the future.

If they hadn't lied it would have sold less. That's why they did it.

It wouldn't have been received any better, it just might not have had such a negative response because there'd be no rug pull.

It sets a concerning precedent of people lying about their games contents though. But if people stop FOMOing like low IQ ******* it wouldn't matter anyway.

They are doing what Hollywood is now doing. Create one good game and when they have a solid audience pull the rug from under them by going all out with the woke ****. You see this with Hollywood where they will create one good season with minimal woke **** and then go all out with the woke **** in the next season. I believe in Hollywood they describe it as; "Putting the shredded carrots in the brownie mix". They think they are clever by doing this. They won't stop with the propaganda. They will just get more sneaky with how they implement it.

I will argue that, while bad, isn't as bad as getting raped by a woman at a wedding party and having to apologize to your rapist. What did Vavra mean by that? :scratch-pipe:

The problem is, similar to other regimes - they have to continually force people to accept or tolerate this behaviour, because it is so contradictory to normal human behaviour that it is normally rejected without a second thought.

This is why Fink and the gang constantly talk about forcing behaviours -- because people do NOT like, or accept woke slop. Even ******* are not actually accepted, even if they are openly tolerated.

For a game where the devs talked a lot about it being a RPG with "options" there sure isn't a lot of them in this game other then who Henry can butt ****. Again, what did Vavra mean by this? :Inspector:

KCD2 is a sandbox game with RPG elements, it's not an RPG. It gets classified as an RPG because of its setting(inherent genre bias towards medieval), if it was a modern or sci-fi game it wouldn't get the RPG label.

"Theresa ***** you" rumors completely and utterly defeated. Of course they couldn't bother to spring for the actress to come back, had to spend that money on gay sex scenes. Winning some goodwill back from me at least.

Maybe I'm too harsh but the fact that she just stands there "stoically" and smirks pisses me off. Why is she not overjoyed and running towards Henry? Even the good ending is somehow ruined...

You ended the clip early. 3 more seconds and you hear a large crash coming from the Mill as Musa falls out the back window butt naked.

Probably didn't got the actress, to voice her excitement and stuff. Feels to me like they didn't consider the first game and made the second game disconnected to the first one which was already confirmed since Vavra and co said people should be able to experience KCD2 without feeling left out (They regularly talk about what happened in KCD1 and even do flashbacks)

Consoomerism in practice. Sunk cost is forgiveable if it's a meaningful input, not simply from hyping up goyslop.

It's hard to say how relevant that sort of comparison actually is. In 2018 when the first game released Steam had about 90 million active monthly users. Now, in 2025, it has about 132 million, which is a percentage increase of 46.67%. Going from a peak of 96 069 to 176 285 is a percentage increase of about ~83.5%. Extrapolating from that I'd guess that relative to the original game it has most likely sold more copies, but not substantially so. What really matters here is how much the game actually cost them to make, how much more then spent on it over the original and how much they spent on advertising, because even if it sells 2 or 3 times the original it could still be a devestating financial failure. The original game is stated to have sold "over 8 million" copies up till the present day, but the vast majority of those sales were not at full price during the crucial opening weeks of the game. The majority of those sales were likely made during deep Steam sales where the lowest recorded price for the game is literally only $2.99 USD.

In any case, has there been any sort of confirmation yet to the claims that Henry cannot pull his sword out inside of the (historically fake and revisionist) synagogue? I wouldn't be surprised if it were true, but I haven't seen anything which confirms it yet.
By volume, Chyna is buying the most copies, and they already pay half off. It's not selling that much better than the first game.
I wanted to get stats on this is as well, @rusty_shackleford, if you're willing. I've searched online and cannot get any accurate information on this.

According to gamalytic, USA is #1 now, but it's by a small amount(17.7% USA, 15.9% CHYNA, 14.1% czech): https://gamalytic.com/game/1771300

Which is a very low % of US ownership compared to big name titles not targeted at CHYNA. e.g., https://gamalytic.com/game/553850 or https://gamalytic.com/game/2183900

Less than 1m copies sold on Steam estimated btw, @Roguey. Likely less than 2m across all platforms.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

FWIW of the ~20000 reviews on Steam, ~9000 are in English, ~4000 are in Chinese, ~1000 are in Czech.

China>Czechia>United States in terms of sales for this game.
@Oyster SauceThis is insightful. If you are willing, would you share where you sourced these stats? I'm doing a stream on some of this and I wanted to reference it.

Thank you, kind sir.

The KCD 2 Discord server has a gay little bot that corrects you whenever you say "gypsy"

Your based Western game dev everyone. Again, I want these anti-woke grifters to look their audience in the face and tell them bold face that this game and Vavra aren't woke. The fact that they are dying on this hill is really something to behold.
The number of "centrist" normie and normie-adjacent shitheads like "Worth a Buy" and "Upper Echelon" among WAY too many others, is just pathetic.
They might as well be saying "So what if there's a little bit of **** in your lemonade and the waiter did it himself because he doesn't like your kind of people? It still tastes good and it doesn't mean it's contaminated (as per the most rigid definition of contaminated food). All food is a little contaminated, anyway!"
Me: "Do you not understand the concept, or are you just a bullshitter?"
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.
