Completely safe. The only mention of homosexuality in the game is the protagonists making fun of the villains because the main villain is willing to bargain for a hostage who is a young man.
I think there is more in the game, specifically the Lucas questline where Henry finds out Lucas is gay and confronts him about it. The stupidity in the writing in this is the obvious modern political narrative pandering where Henry says "you should be who you are" type of response which of course doesn't even fit into the scene because Lucas goes on to explain how he never acted on his impulse and was thankful his father sent him to the monastery rather than to be married to a woman because he can live a life without sin and avoid acting on his impulse.
You still can choose to report this to the monastery apparently (I don't remember playing this quest though).
This is a story aspect I would rather not be here in the first place, but... it at least is a practical aspect and reasoned with respect to the times and setting.
That said, this quest is a hint though as for Henry to say what he did "be who you are" is pure gay insert ******** as Henry appears to advocate for faggotry even when Lucas is against it.

Woke is like a parasitic alien, it can’t survive on its own and it isn’t a part of the natural world. It needs a healthy host to hide in and feed from, in order to fool people; otherwise human beings gather torches and pitchforks to destroy the horrifying evil creature. Once it matures, nothing of the original host remains alive and the woke cavorts about in its skin, attempting to feed until eventually people realize what has happened and destroy it. This is why things like Concord fail immediately, as there was no host to hide in. Here we can see that KCD is being fed upon, after first establishing a fan base.

First game is great, no ********. That it is truly heartbreaking to see the devs selling out their butthole and dignity for 10 copper coins.
I last played the first game in 2018 or 2019. I didn't notice it then but looking back, the signs of poz were already readily apparent then, we just didn't want to see them. The Women's Lot DLC should have tipped you off if the strong confident woman saving you from bandits in the prologue didn't. The Codex is full of "muh wombyn" texts and you're early on made to sympathize with the poor poor women.
It was there, we just didn't want to see it because of the *** posting some gamergate memes. We're ********.
