I'm so utterly disappointed by how this game turned out that I won't even be pirating it. Every man has different degrees of ******** that they are and are not willing to accept, but I personally cannot fathom why a significant number of you are still seeking the installation of such trash on your computers. I may have had a somewhat different opinion about all of this if it weren't the follow-up to KCD1, I'd likely just roll my eyes at the game and move on, but because I had such fondness for the first game and because of what it stood for during the time of its release this betrayal cuts extra deep. Due to all of Vavra's lies, his endless gaslighting, the various "based" shills who went above and beyond in their efforts to shield him, the retconning of the established lore (likely a victim of Vavra's personal journey of homosexual self-discovery), the obscene historical revisionism and of course the filth contained in the game itself, I feel that it would be disrespectful and debasing to me to still seek this out and play it regardless, even if completely free. There are plenty of other games out there which I have still yet to play and most of them aren't going to ask me to spread my cheeks and be chastised by a mythical "virtuous" Malian.

Problem is some games dont run that well or not at all on win10 anymore. Like red alert2 or prototype. And in games like KCD2 you can play for 200hours and never touch any quests at all. Just loot, steal, murder, trade, fight, advance skills, make potions, shoot cumans. Just shouldnt pay for it.

Unfortunately the leaks came out way too close to the release date and many people probably werent aware of them. I just hope that Warhorse loses all of its goodwill it build with the first game and turns into another Bioware or Ubisoft. A studio that will be mentioned just to be made fun of, and also to be ridiculed into a reminder of what happens if you lie, betray and spit on your fans.

With any luck the game wont make enough money to pay for the next game Warhorse might decide to develop and they will be forced to borrow more money from the Embracer. However then everybody will know their true colors and the next game will crash and burn, with the studio going into the gutter.

Thats true. However the hardcore fans of the first game that have become invested in it, might feel different about it after playing the second one. And that could cause quite a change.

I managed to get Prototype working on W10 by replacing a few DLLs and unchecking CPU cores in CPU affinity iirc
you're right though, the hassle alone leads to just as much people not bothering to play the older title

uhh… a lot? You realize it has been almost a decade, right?

KCD was notable for breaking Witcher 3 & Skyrim's peak CCU when it launched.

A sitcom starring two homosexual nobles in medieval bohemia, they live together along with one of their brothers(who is jewish) and their african scholar-doctor best friend.

Anyone checked if you're allowed to pull out your weapon in the synagogue yet?

Holy ****! I am watching Synth's stream of this game and the dialogue is utterly wretched. It feels like they got a bunch of people from Reddit to write the dialogue. The women in this game do nothing but berate Henry and he just takes it like a ****. The tutorial is also 3 hours long.

Strange that Vavra is getting *** mad over this. He has been like this all day today. You would think with his game being successful that he would be happy instead of acting like an *** mad fairy on X. I wonder what he isn't telling us?
