Then it will never happen and you will never see games or people again. Learn to hate everything so then the trickster god gives it to you after you don't want it anymore.

UT 99 and 2004 is dead, they aren't even for sale anymore because Epic wants nothing competing with their F*rtnite scam. Xonotic is a great alternative though, and it's free software to boot.

It must be that I'm a poorfag that I don't wanna play fortnite with ******** on discord for eco friendly instagram pictures in california. As if I was rich I would waste my time playing fortnite.

Why the hell is the netcode on quake so god awful? Everything is lagged to hell and back. Isn't this designed for dial-up modems?

Yeah I have less than stellar internet but I don't have this problem with other games. UT or Half-Life.

******* Half-Life...

Dying in counterstike.

Dying because I suck and not because the netcode is a giant pile of ****.

I also like how I can minimize the game without windows having a stroke. Interesting feature that no one cares about that will take too much time to reimplement.

I haven't played much of Quake III: Arena, but it was updated years later into Quake Live. Not sure how many players are left but you can try that?. Or Open Arena, which is a FOSS version.

Boosting around everywhere with rocket jets makes the game lame as hell.

Wow this is novel and cool. I wonder what the sequels will look like.

It would be nice if someone made a more tactically/scientifically realistic mech-game. Mechwarrior is about 25 percent there.

Oh ****.

I need a mech game with 30+ different controls to micromanage every little movement and meticulously dismantle my opponents, sometimes with spectacular results, not this zooming around, explosions and fire everywhere all the time.

There are walking animations, they're just not used very often.

HUGE EMPTY MAPS WITH NOTHING IN THEM SO WE NEED YOU TO BE GOING AS FAST AS POSSIBLE AT ALL TIMES.

THE MAD MAX SYNDROME.

What's better, all these new locking and combo gimmicks basically means that PVP is going to be lame as hell or non-existent.

Want a fancy new orbital strike launcher? What do you mean money? We don't have money in 2023. You have to grind that XP son.

Unless you're talkin about real money, then you can have that right now at the beginning!

That footage probably represents what you'll be doing 90% of the time in this game. Just flying from point-a to point-b to do some menial task, maybe sweat your way through some enemy and boss encounters, rinse and repeat.

If you're a huge fan of this series/FROM SOFTWARE, and you have literally nothing better to do, here's some guy talking about it for an hour, because he was given Chapter 1 to play:

You can resell parts at the original price, you can't go into debt, and you can fire all your weapons at once: no overheating. That sounds way too ******* easy.

Perfect for the participation trophy generations that have never faced any adversity in life.
