Without regards to alignment, story, or anything else. There's always some irritating NPC that gets the axe in certain games. In Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 I always make sure Drizzt dies even if I have to finagle around my good aligned party members to do it. Besides, his gear is much better for me anyway. I also try to make sure that bitchy silver dragoness in the Underdark dies because I don't like being forced into things. In Gothic The Rice Lord always bites it and so does Bullit. In Dark Messiah the developers practically beg you to kill off Leanna and it feels great.

And then there's Louis Pan:

In Dragon Age Origins the devs really showed me an assassin that just tried to kill me and said "hey, you can take him with you". :notsureif:
Only let him live in my very first playthrough due to completionist tendencies, otherwise: live by the knife, die by the knife. :knight:

Planescape: Torment

I don't know... otherwise it's pedos, serial killers and the like. Objectively bad people.

Mediocre or bad games can still have parts that are good.

Greybor in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

In my first run of that game I also allowed him to be my companion to see what his story was about, and turns out he was the stereotypical "assassin with sadge backstory" that's overdone to death and his build was as generic as it gets, so every single re-run I always railroad him when the game throws him at me.

Quite the missed opportunity at the concept of a dwarf assassin tbh, but that's one less annoying companion to worry about in this game.

EDIT: Oh yeah I also forgot about Camellia from the same game.

On my first run I was also curious if there was more to her than just being a yandere murder *****, and turns out that she was indeed nothing more than just a yandere murder ***** with no redeeming qualities, so now after she outlives her usefulness - cuz she's one of the first companions - I finish her off once her "secret" gets out.

Same thing with Wenduag. The companions from WotR were a clear downgrade from Kingmaker.

I liked that I could bind Death's Hand, and he and Whirlwind would kill my team, if I took the dragon heart. It was so satisfying to kill them all and become the evil emperor, after having a threesome with the gf and the princess, that I always betrayed them.
Weirdest cracker you know.

Camellia is such a shallow puddle of a character. I was so disappointed, much worse than anyone else. It's like they made a joke character just for shits and giggles.
Greybor is not the most memorable companion but no reason to kill the poor man :(

Well it's not my fault that the story forces me to either permanently hire or kill him, and I never really feel like hiring him since he would always be in the bench all the time just taking EXP away from the companions I actually use. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

If you did this for real, could you tell me if it's possible to? I will evade Neere and the companions (barring Karlach) myself, but was planning on making a playthrough as a silent lone killing machine at some point (only way I could probably bear to go through "act 3" ).

I attempted this early after launch but it wasn't a 100% genocide run, it was just what felt fun for my character. There are a few people/things you can't kill for obvious reasons, and once you get into the actual city it becomes a buggy piece of ****.

I also did it to vent my frustration for Act 3, but the way they handle it in the city is so buggy and weird that they clearly did not plan for someone to attempt it. I assume its less buggy now.

Going to guess this is related to their genius idea of trying to fit as much onto one map as possible. Also caused load times to become insane. The game was actually unable to be completed at launch because savefiles grew too large, it was fixed in the first hotfix
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

With how I meant that playthrough to be if I'll attempt it, I will not mind some jankyness.
That is very good news, thank you

I got it for Vulpes Inculta. Man dares me to try and kill him, I'm stupid enough to give it a go.

Some others probably, but I'd have to think to remember.

Karlach from BG3 gets beheaded in my every single playthough from now on. Just too much annoying wokefied stuff on that character for me. Never again

Thou feel lucky cause you can actually get rid of her pretty easily early on the game.
