But again, who cares about the scale. Some managers, designers and devs actually sat down and had a meeting on how to shunt some gay and black into this game. (That is oh so not important!).

They then allocated budget and time (prioritising this over whatever else they could have been doing), then had programmers, voice actors, animators, testers and the rest all work on implementing it.
And that's while they're focused on cost saving, too!

I was going to say let's see whether it was "worth it" for them, but we all know for it's not just about money for ****, when it relates to white society.

Nope. I just did the quest a couple days ago, he doesn't tell you but you get a lead that points you towards the book in Rattay and have to go follow up with the scribe.
I did it by failing the speech check, went to the bar with him, talked, refused to drink. You talk to the bailiff outside after this.

Kingdom Come Deliverence sold 6 million. More than BG1 and BG2 combined. It's one of the most popular RPGs ever made. You don't get those kind of numbers by selling exclusively to rpg elitists and purity spiraling chuds, who are a tiny, irrelevant share of the larger RPG player pie. Vavra is a ******* ****** for taking their bait at all. It's one of the worst public meltdowns from a game dev I have seen. He even started calling critics nazis after criticizing other devs for doing so in the past, lol. All he had to do was to say nothing and let the game speak for itself when it comes out, if he believes it is good and that these questionable elements are not obtrusive and subversive. Maybe he's thin-skinned, or perhaps he cares about the opinion and approval of his "side" too much, so he felt the need to address those concerns but didn't have the finesse to do it right. Either way, no sane person is going to give a **** about a token ****** in the game, nor will any reviewer or streamer with an actual audience. The game will get rave reviews from access media and content makers alike, and will go on to sell millions. It will probably the double the lifetime sales of the first game. Instead of having fun with a great new RPG, chuddies on /v/, codex and here will be spending all their time obsessively looking at steam charts and coping about how it can still "flop".

The whole game looks like an HBO drama.

Most fun stuff anyway is robbing people blind and doing hit and run tactics with poison arrows against groups of knights. Or getting drunk and hunt boars at night and pass out near a bandit camp and then end up dead. And the visual effects from being drunk are so well made no other game comes close.
