Writing this up so we can just reference it for installation instructions.
DISCLAIMER: If you care about your account, you should only be playing modded on an alt.
The devs of the game seem really bad at patching modding methods, but the jury is still out if they will start BANNING people who mod. If I had to guess, they will just keep patching methods, and the community will just find out how to bypass it without bans. But don't quote me on that.
It's a free game, just make an alt if you care.

Setting Up Game For Modding
Pre-Extracted Files (No FModel Required)
I won't rehost these files since I'm not sure if they're DMCA-able, but you can skip the FModel process if you just download the pre-extracted folders and delete the pak files yourself.
- Go to your Paks folder in MarvelGame\Marvel\Content\Paks and delete these pak files:
- pakchunkHQ-Windows.pak
- pakchunkLQ-Windows.pak
- pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak
- Extract the zip file contents to \MarvelGame\Marvel\

- Download FModel
ㅤ - Open it, and set the game version to GAME_MarvelRivals
ㅤ - Apply the AES Keys
- Go to Directory > AES and apply this key: 0x0C263D8C22DCB085894899C3A3796383E9BF9DE0CBFB08C9BF2DEF2E84F29D74
- Apply the mapping file
- Go to Settings > General > Local Mapping File > Enabled > Select the .usmap mapping file

- Go to Settings > Models > Socket Format (ActorX) and choose Don't Export Bone Sockets
Extracting Assets
- Open FModel and select the file for assets you'll be overriding, then click Load.
- For model replacements, unpack pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak
- For audio replacements, unpack pakchunkWwise-Windows.pak
- Select the Marvel folder, right click, and press Export FOlder's Packages Raw Data to dump all files
- Go to where the files exported to
- By default, they will go into your FModel.exe directory in a folder called "Output". You can change this in FModel's settings
- You can also just click the hyperlink in the FModel output to open the folder
- Grab the Marvel folder, and drop it in MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\
- Go to your Paks folder in MarvelGame\Marvel\Content\Paks and delete the pak file you extracted
- The game will use the loose files extracted, but the pak file will take priority
- Open your game and make sure it's still working
If you did everything right, your folders should look something like this:
