Thread title, I'm curious. Doesn't show what you voted so you don't have to worry about being bugged by someone.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I voted for piracy, but it's not a fair poll because there's no "I don't play videogames" option.
I mostly pirate, but I'll shell out for devs that I think deserve it.
I can't imagine spending $50 on videogames every month. I am subbed to one MMO year round, and then I buy maybe 1 or 2 new full priced games per year, and then maybe a few other older games on sale.
Probably spend like 200€ since 2018 or so. Most games are either just too buggy or missing stuff at release. And then once they are finished I just wait a year longer and buy it heaviely discounted if I want to support the devs. And even if the game is based at release they censor later, if it has some online component, if you are unlucky.

I rarely buy games anymore. It has to be something special for me to care. There's so many great games I haven't even got through yet that came out before 2010.

Games with online features I want can get my money, otherwise it's a sailor's life for me!

Bought Noita on sale for a buck-something in July of this year and Guild Wars 2 for $50-60 in January or February of 2021. Pirated everything else in the meantime.
"Oh, it all makes sense now, brother."
Probably average to $100+, but it's extremely rare that I would buy a full-priced game so it's even more games than it sounds. I think the only games I paid full price for this year were EDF6 and Stellar Blade. Next most expensive would be preordering FF7 Rebirth for 30% off. Lots of games bought for $10, $5, or less.
Pirating isn't worth it for me given that games don't really cost that much. I'd rather have a library that I can download at will, have updates readily available, and not worry about compromising my PC. I don't mind waiting for prices to drop. If it's slop I'll get it from gamepass or a humble bundle. I don't feel a burning need to have the slop right now that would necessitate pirating it. And if it's not slop, I want to see the devs get paid.
