I am sure I am not the only one who loves and has played this series of games. I am, of course, worried about the DEI content ruining a great game. So I want us to be ready for the inevitable modding that will be needed to make this game playable again.

First off: Harriet Tubman as a leader

Nothing wrong with Harriet Tubman showing up as a Great Person (which she was in real life), but she is no statesman. If they wanted an abolitionist leader, they should have gone with Frederick Douglass or William Lloyd Garrison.

I am sure there will be lots of obscure women in positions of leadership that they do not deserve and will also need removal.

Also, if they try ANY kind of pro-Alphabet People, pro-*****, or pro-Climate Cult stuff, that will have to go also.

Funny thing is, the people who build the Pyramids weren't slaves, and actually enjoyed their work. We can tell this because of the graffiti found at the construction site. They weren't slaves, they actually got paid to do that, and by all accounts they considered it a pretty good side hustle to have in the offseason between planting and harvesting.

Everything about Tubman has very weak historical foundations. It's basic 20th century myth.

I looked into it.
There is good historical evidence from the period that she did at least sometimes act as a nurse for governmental parties and did for a while work as a go-between for the Union and a network of southern slaves, but a lot of the written history was simply people of the time who were well-disposed to her (for some unfathomable reason) taking her many stories as true at her word, which is a proposition that is known to be poor scholarship.
Because what is incontrovertible in the history is that she was a VERY opinionated *****, despite being stereotypically nignorant, and spent most of her life as an ex-slave running her mouth constantly about what people should do for women and blacks because she wanted it and thought it was "right".
I doubt she would not stoop to lying and fabricating ******** to feed her own ego and self-perceived status and to aid her cause.
Despite being hideously ugly and of the lowest possible status, she had the sheboon's unshakeable belief that she was an important person.

You could make the argument that it has to be able to distinguish fact from fiction before it can 'lie' per se, so you almost have a real point there.
