Civilization 7 DEI Removal
Civilization 7 DEI Removal
I am sure I am not the only one who loves and has played this series of games. I am, of course, worried about the DEI content ruining a great game. So I want us to be ready for the inevitable modding that will be needed to make this game playable again.
First off: Harriet Tubman as a leader
Nothing wrong with Harriet Tubman showing up as a Great Person (which she was in real life), but she is no statesman. If they wanted an abolitionist leader, they should have gone with Frederick Douglass or William Lloyd Garrison.
I am sure there will be lots of obscure women in positions of leadership that they do not deserve and will also need removal.
Also, if they try ANY kind of pro-Alphabet People, pro-*****, or pro-Climate Cult stuff, that will have to go also.

I never got Civ games. Don't understand the appeal at all.
DEI isn't about promoting minorities in historically accurate ways, it's about erasing white males. And the furthest thing from a white male is the ****** female.
Yeah, they didn't want an abolitionist leader, you see. They wanted a sheboon leader.n3IVI0 wrote: ↑ December 23rd, 2024, 09:57If they wanted an abolitionist leader, they should have gone with Frederick Douglass or William Lloyd Garrison.

"Oh, it all makes sense now, brother."
The "Civilization" series is now and has always been a subversive propaganda tool made by and for low-information Americans.

Every Civ game sparks drama. If it bugs you, mods will fix it—play what you like.

An objective lie: the mods removing sjw and gender ideology ******** being removed from everywhere, even steam has started removing guides telling where to get such mods and how install them.derami991 wrote: ↑ December 26th, 2024, 10:37Every Civ game sparks drama. Honestly, Endless Legend was better than Civ

Funny thing is, the people who build the Pyramids weren't slaves, and actually enjoyed their work. We can tell this because of the graffiti found at the construction site. They weren't slaves, they actually got paid to do that, and by all accounts they considered it a pretty good side hustle to have in the offseason between planting and harvesting.
They should have gone with Obama. It would at least be a lot less divisive than ******* harriet tubman as that's already a highly political choice to begin withNorfleet wrote: ↑ December 27th, 2024, 07:33They should have gone with Obama. Well, obviously. I mean, regardless of what you think of his reign, at least he was an actual leader of the US.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ December 27th, 2024, 07:34It would at least be a lot less divisive than ******* harriet tubman as that's already a highly political choice to begin with
They've got a real obsession with Harriet Tubman, since leftoids have been wanting to replace Jackson with her on the $20 as well. Is it typical sticking it to the South/rednecks, or is there more to it?
There's a good point.Norfleet wrote: ↑ December 27th, 2024, 13:20Well, obviously. I mean, regardless of what you think of his reign, at least he was an actual leader of the US.
The only thing Tubman ran was her mouth and a black 5th column network of disaffected slaves selling information to the Union.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

Everything about Tubman has very weak historical foundations. It's basic 20th century myth.Rand wrote: ↑ December 27th, 2024, 14:28There's a good point.Norfleet wrote: ↑ December 27th, 2024, 13:20Well, obviously. There is good historical evidence from the period that she did at least sometimes act as a nurse for governmental parties and did for a while work as a go-between for the Union and a network of southern slaves, but a lot of the written history was simply people of the time who were well-disposed to her (for some unfathomable reason) taking her many stories as true at her word, which is a proposition that is known to be poor scholarship.
Because what is incontrovertible in the history is that she was a VERY opinionated *****, despite being stereotypically nignorant, and spent most of her life as an ex-slave running her mouth constantly about what people should do for women and blacks because she wanted it and thought it was "right".
I doubt she would not stoop to lying and fabricating ******** to feed her own ego and self-perceived status and to aid her cause.
Despite being hideously ugly and of the lowest possible status, she had the sheboon's unshakeable belief that she was an important person.

You could make the argument that it has to be able to distinguish fact from fiction before it can 'lie' per se, so you almost have a real point there.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ December 28th, 2024, 08:16black women are incapable of lying btwRand wrote: ↑ December 27th, 2024, 20:41but a lot of the written history was simply people of the time taking her many stories as true at her word, which is a proposition that is known to be poor scholarship.
