Zothique's White Trash Gaming Kuk Korner (itch.io slop/roguelikes/weird **** thread)
I like to peruse sites like itch.io, Gamejolt and etc for interesting and (((free))) things to play because I'm just a wacky dude like that.
The goal here is to entertain myself and perhaps provide you guys with funny things to check out from genuinely talented devs + mentally ill ****** **** that I run into on these sites.
I don't have anything off the top of my head for this intro, so yeah. But I have a backlog of stuff in hidden folders on my accounts that I still want to play + review.

Actually, I do have something interesting I've tried fairly recently... STEELSPLITTER

Not sure if this is a jam game or not, but it's surprisingly cool and I burned at least 30 minutes on it. It's wave-based shooter, and relies on you to be accurate and to hit pain-points on each mob type. Usually only one or two hits from a weapon is needed, so each wave is fairly fast-paced + player upgrades in between each wave keep it interesting.
Also, despite having that cartoonish "Unityslop" look at first glance, it runs BUTTERY smooth on my piece-of-**** integrated graphics laptop. Was genuinely stunned at this since Unity crap usually isn't optimized at all (in my experience).
It's free, doesn't take up much space, and might be a fun diversion during a lunch break for some of you. I'd love to see this "concept of a plan" be expanded more into a full-length title. The author also has made a mini Soulslike game with claymation-type characters that's highly interesting as well that I plan on diving into shortly.

There has never been a single good itch.io game
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

Well, I'm doing this as a fun little "service" for our community.
Also, I have played decent stuff on there before.
I still need to play this.
If it makes you laugh, sure.Dead wrote: ↑ December 16th, 2024, 15:41You're a Kuk?Zothique wrote: ↑ December 16th, 2024, 05:05I like to peruse sites like itch.io, Gamejolt and etc for interesting and (((free))) things to play because I'm just a wacky dude like that.

If you've played Inscryption, you'll enjoy Buckshot Roulette. The game is short yet easily replayable.
Yeah, **** this. Itch is trash.
Anyone want me to review a porn game or something?
