I would generally agree with you, but I was pleasantly surprised when I realized the pauses in his monologue indicated when he was about to attack. Neat little tie-in between story and gameplay.

It also seems to be yet another setting where human belief creates deities. It hasn't revealed yet what the religion of the Eternals was, but they seem to be a Roman Empire analogue, so I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up being the evil monotheists to the poor suffering pagan Ezomytes. I hope it doesn't end up being such a tired inversion, but Una in the camp sure talks up her druidic animist religion a lot.

Game's pretty fun. I thought PoE sucked and dropped it a few hours in each time I started, but 2 plays really well. Melee feels like it takes ages to reach a decent build compared to ranged, though.

I dropped PoE 1 the first time too, then picked it back up a year later and loved it (all of the Acts were done by then). I was watching Lobos play warrior and you're right. Until he had boneshatter and high stun he was slow going.

The game filtered me after I kept dying to trash mobs I'm changing my review from it's good to "it's trying to be dark souls." I have no patience for any dark souls game except dark souls (especially when you can get ****** up on a dodge roll from a lag spike). I also don't like to play with other people or trade which was also suggested. @Decline was right and I was wrong, I'm fat and he's buff, I'm ugly and he's handsome, etc etc

I have a strong feeling the game WILL become easier with time. Right now they only have a smudge of content - 3 acts. Without this artificial difficulty people would have finished it in a few days. But they need to keep people online. That is the key in tgis particular game. More peolle online = more cash shop purchases. That's why the grind will always be there.

Melee only has 2 abilities worth anything, and auto-attack is the highest DPS until level 20-ish.

38 DPS at level 10 is ********.

Oh, at the moment AA is literally the best DPS, I hope it gets better though, so we'll see.

The diabetes does make my hands shaky and slow it's probably a me problem and the game is actually 10\10

My monk is level 50 something and AA has more than 2k dps. Im not doing elemental monk, I went physical dmg + daze + stun. The point is monks unarmed attack makes his AAs go into projectiles which can hit several enemies.
