oh come now, Cassandra was actually a nice romance option. She's like a tsundere and reading varics books being her guilty pleasure and you being able to get him to keep writing so she can enjoy reading more, is a very nice way of showing you care for her.

She's my personal favourite character from Inquisition and my favourite romance in that game, but I do have to admit that she's not appealing to the majority of men. Short hair alone is a turn off for many, as is her age.

That was a very awkwardly written scene, but that's most likely because she was written by Hamburger Helper with David Gaydar finishing up. I believe the intention there was for Cassandra to express her insecurity and worry about the player. She only ever had sex with one guy and he died shortly after. But I agree that her spilling spaghetti all over by talking about her ex was a turn off.
That said, Josephine was much more promiscuous, as she had to undergo bard (Orlesian spy) training and seduction is one of the main weapons in their arsenal.

What does it matter how they find out? The fact is that it can be found and similar things have been found in the past (ie teachers who did porn having their students find out).
