That is why I would wait a bit for the patches to die down and for a repacker to clean it up and compress it.

No idea, but given how things worked in the past, I doubt it.
GOGDB has only a single entry with no updates listed, build version is unhelpfully listed as "424".

EDIT: it has just updated to build "436" and that is available at the site I listed.

Modern devs have finally defeated piracy by making their game overbloated and infested with bugs on release so it won't be worth the effort of pirating and patching it.

Seems fine so far. Humans try different tactics, animals run circles around me and attack me when i'm unguarded, people walk around and react to stuff (just not that a lightning strikes infront of them lol)

There's video online for all of the above issues.
Zero day patch probably helped a lot, I would think.

It's **** isn't it..?
German reviews I am reading mention nothing of the hohols and their war. They just talk about content, performance and such
Reading English Steam reviews the top 50 are UKRAINE !! UKRAINE!!

don't mention the game at all.. I'm reporting them. :popcorn2:

who cares about bugs, gameplay is trash

especially gunplay. guns lack impact/they dotn cause stagger animations and they do pellet gun dmg so conole subhumans on controllers can sprey on with bots
and ai, the best ******* ai i ever seen in fpp game
is gone. forget ambushing etc its brainded, might as well play online. this looks like ubisoft made.

also gun sound effects are trash

lot can be modded away but bot ai and other gamepleay issues not (without rewriting engine), ergo not worth touching.
aslo no vehicles wtf

the whole point of stalker is freeplay hunting and then buying cars and tanks and trucks and loading them with guns, dont give a **** about quests.
it makes jew inside me feel warm.

Based on videos, I guess after a patch, seems okay. I like this kind of game though, I'm biased.

Speaking of *******, though, but ****, most of the people streaming it seem ********.

I don't think modern modern players, woke or not, gray hair or not, can play open world games competently well.

They are obviously trained to need to be told what to do at every moment. I can't watch these streams, they are infuriatingly bad at games like this.

Half the ppl could not figure out, in hours, how to equip artifacts.

They died to dogs, with full ak's, because they always forget to reload. They die to bandits. Because they never reload.

Half skipped all the fights with bandits etc because they couldn't figure out "if they have to fight" them or not. They can't make their own choices. So they missed out on most quests.

Both halves seem unable to play basic FPS. They are...playing an FPS on PC...with controllers.

The average intelligence has definitely dropped in our society. Doesn't surprise me at all. AAA games today literally tell you what to do and how to solve things repeatedly.

This use of controllers on PCs is becoming more common and I find it very odd for the games where a controller isn't the optimal input device (and there are few games where that's the case).

People making excuses for the games bugs because the developers are Ukrainian in dealing with the Ukraine/ Russia war.

Last time I check the game wasn’t free and cost 79.99 plus.
Imagine buying a Jeep and it’s breaks down when you take it out of the car dealership but some dipshit said you should give the company a break because they tried really hard to make it perfect.
